Pearls with Purpose  Foundation is a non-profit organization that trains women in Philippines, Cambodia, and India to make jewelry and basically run their own micro-business.  This enables them to provide money for their families and children to complete school and get good nutrition and medical attention.  Some women even went on to build their own homes!  The only way they can do this, however, is from the sale of their jewelry, which are Pearls that cost from $15-$400.     These pearls are Grade A genuine pearls and are crafted into elegant pieces of jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings.  It’s made in the Philippines and India and shipped to the US.  Whenyou purchase a Pledgers necklace you can go online and take a pledge and add your name to the Wall of Fame.  Then you can earn additional charms for it as you create or participate in service opportunities within YOUR community.  This basically lets you make a necklace that symbolizes service and helping others.  The soul of service is the desire to share so be sure to purchase a piece of jewelry from Pearls with Purpose and share your story!

I received some gorgeous pearl jewelry from Pearls with Purpose.  The Triple Pearl has a life meaning of balancing everyday life.  Remember the past, stay centered in the present, and look forward to the future.  So beautiful and what a great daily reminder for me! It’s so affordable at $28 and makes a fantastic gift.  I love how elegant it is but how it still makes a great statement when I wear it.

The Pledge Necklace is a cause piece.   This is the one I referred to above, where you can go on and take the pledge and sign the wall of fame.  For $25 this is a great deal because then you can add to this original necklace when you earn charms!

Each piece of jewelry has a little charm on it, in sterling silver, that indicates the country in which it was made.  The fish is for Philippines, the elephant for India and the Temple represents Cambodia.   Oh and yes, they use sterling silver on most of their products!!

Definitely check out Pearls with Purpose whether it’s for your next jewelry addition, or as a gift for someone, and be sure to help a good cause and take their pledge!
One winner will get pearl jewelry of their own!
