Thanks to the inspiring posts over at Zen Habits, I've decided to take on the project known as "A Year Without". Each month I will choose a different thing to give up for a whole month. This is a great way to test yourself and re-evaluate your life and decisions.

For January I've decided to stick to a month without texting and driving. By this I mean even checking my phone at a red light! Not only is this a safer way to live but it's something that I already am pretty good at. The reason I'm still going to give it up is because I want to prove to myself I can absolutely go without even glancing at my phone while behind the wheel. At the end of the month I'll post again and let you know how I did and if what I gave up was something I want to permanently give up, or if it's something that seems impossible for me to give up!

Here's my run down of what I'll be giving up:

January: Texting and Driving
February: Cursing
March: Buying Unnecessary Items
April: Candy
May: Fast Food
June: Gossip

July: Indoor Tanning
August: Complaining
September: Making Excuses(Apologize more!)
October: Biting my nails
November: Road Rage
December: Clutter

So what are you going to give up this month?
