It Starts With A Name

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

Parents typically devote a lot of time to selecting a name for their baby. That name is one of the first sounds the baby recognizes. As the child gets older, they learn to recognize their name by sight and soon learn how to write it themselves. From small children through teenage years, kids love to have their name or initials displayed on their bedroom wall or door, their clothing, backpacks, phone case and many other personal items.

Adults also like personalized items. There simply seems to be something extra special about towels, jewelry, totes, and other items that display one's initials. With this thought in mind, gifts that feature
monograms should be at the top of your gift idea list anytime you need to purchase a gift.

It used to be that when people thought of a monogrammed gift, they thought of items such as glasses as wedding or hostess gift, handkerchiefs, pillowcases or a limited number of personalized items. It's a lot different today. You have an extensive variety of items to choose from when you're looking for a monogrammed gift. Monogrammed gifts are appropriate for someone you know on a casual level such as your child's teacher. They are also a good gift choice for immediate and extended family member you buy gifts for on special occasions and holidays. Perhaps one of the best features of a monogrammed gift is it can take almost any gift item to a more impressive level.

  1. Not sure how old you are but when I was a kid, they used to have license plates you could put on your bike that had your name. We thought those were so cool. I don't think I will be finding any of those for my youngest though. At least not yet. His name is Ryker
