Maybe I'm totally weird but I like to celebrate little things with my dogs. We celebrate birthdays, we celebrate good news after a vet appointment and we celebrate good behavior. It's the little things that make their life and my life complete so I figure I might as well go all out. I know a lot of you probably do the same.

And in case you needed another reason to celebrate something with your dogs National Dog Week is September 20th - 26th this year! So of course I had to take Grace out to a park with me to get some good old fashion playtime in! We started off the day by running in circles. Yes, one of Grace's favorite past times. We even threw a tennis ball. Grace doesn't always bring it back to me but she definitely love to chase after it. Because I didn't want anything to happen to her I kept her on a leash and ran with her. Safety first!

I like to ensure that Grace gets plenty of exercise and a simple frisbee really helped with that. Dogs love simple toys and things like this. After we both got tired from all the running around, Grace had a quick snack and then we took a simple walk around in the grass. And of course at the end of it all Grace was hungry and mealtime is always a dog favorite in my home and a great way to celebrate the special week with her so I let her chow down.
