It's Amazing What a Few Faux Plants Can Do...

So recently I've been feeling like there's something missing from my house.  I try to keep everything minimal but I needed some finishing touches.  Then, it hit me. Fake plants!!!!

I went on a plant shopping spree the other weekend at Home Goods, Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls.   And then of course there's the whole task of figuring out what should go where and rearranging and running from room to room to compare if a plant looks better in this room or that room.

We have a tiny corner toilet in our tiny bathroom that's off the main bedroom.  So I decided to make the room feel not so tiny but adding something tall - this little arrangement.  How cute is that?

I had this little Buddha vase for a while but it never really spiced up the dining room.  And the thing is - the theme in the dining room between the rug and the wall decor is blues, greens, and browns.  So when I found this awesome bouquet of fake grasses and flowers it was the perfect color.   It makes the corner of the room not so bare now.

So we have this random little corner that is empty and it's right where the hallway meets the dining room, living room, and entryway so I figured it was only appropriate to have a gorgeous leafy plant on a little stand here.
Our master bathroom is very tiny but it always felt like something was missing even with the minimal items in it.  So of course a fake plant and fake succulents was the perfect touch to add some life and some green to the room.
Ahhhh and my wine rack. Let's talk about this little gem. It's in the dining room in the corner and I thought it was perfect but the fake pink flowers totally classed it up and gave it more style.
And the laundry room.... it sits in the basement but when I do go down there I like to feel at home rather than in a cold dark room.  So with some little decorative accents a fake white flower in a vase - VOILA!

It's seriously amazing what a few fake plants can do to a room.  And I don't have to worry about them not getting enough water or sunlight! It's a win-win!

Do you like to decorate with faux plants in your home?
