My Everyday Healthy Living Routine

Thursday, August 3, 2017

Each year I become more and more aware of the things I need to do to live a healthier and happier life.  This year is no different and today I'm going to share with you the steps I've been taking for a healthier life.

[Eating Wholesome Foods]
I avoid processed, packaged foods as much as possible anymore.   At first it was very difficult to avoid certain cravings, but the longer I went without that kind of food, the less cravings I had.   Instead of chips, I choose fruit.  For dessert I no longer need a disturbingly sugar filled treat - I opt for chocolate covered banana slices.  I feel so much better and I don't have to worry about getting tired from carbs or crashing after I have a sugar filled treat.

[Regular Bedtime]
As bad as it sounds, I used to let my TV schedule rule my life.   I would stay up late just to watch my favorite shows.   Over the past year, I've made sleep a priority and I've learned to stop what I'm doing and head right to bed at 10 pm.  This lets me get AT LEAST 7 hours of sleep a night.  I stick to this same schedule on weekends, too.  After a couple of months of doing this, my body has completely adapted to the schedule and I naturally get tired right before 10 now.

[Serious Fitness Routine]
Who would have thought that I would ever look forward to working out.   I used to dread it.  I would do everything possible just to avoid it and make the most ridiculous excuses.  Now, I come home and am excited to workout and blow off some steam.  It's a great way to deal with stress from a long day at work.  In the beginning it was difficult to push myself to workout even when I didn't feel like it, but the more I did it, the more of a habit it became and now it's an essential part of my routine.  I usually do 25-35 minutes on the elliptical and then a strength training routine which alternates each time I do it.
[Using CBD Oil]
Before you ask, this is Hemp, not Marijuana.  This product is legal in ALL 50 STATES.   I'm reaping all the benefits of the Hemp plant.  Now let me explain further.  I've been using Receptra Naturals pure Hemp CBD Oil as part of my daily routine.  There are so many benefits to these all natural and organically grown oils.  It restores blood flow to the brain and body and can improve focus and endurance.  This is great for my exercise routine and keeping me motivated to work out as soon as I get home from a long day at work.  That's always been where I struggled but now I am actually looking forward to a long workout every other day.
Pure CBD oil products also improve sleep patterns.  They're packed full of essential fatty acids and can also reduce inflammation. This is great for me because it can reduce the lactic acide buildup during and after my workout which is what makes me REALLY sore the next day.

It pretty much helps reinforce all the steps I've been taking in my life anyways.  All of Receptra Natural's oils are naturally flavored with Fresh Berry.  It makes it that much more enjoyable!  Hemp Oil is a great source of omega fatty acids, antioxidants, and other important nutrients and vitamins.  It helps boost my immune system naturally.  I've also noticed a change in my mood.  I am way more optimistic and positive than ever before.
Are you wondering how I even take this oil? It's simple! You just place the drops under your tongue.  Easy as that.  And again, you will not get a high from Hemp CBD oil because it's NOT MARIJUANA.
I even have tried the targeted topical and the body butter and they are both amazing!  They go on smooth and I really can feel a difference in my overall health and wellbeing. I had the tightest cramp in my calf muscle the other day and I rubbed the topical cream in and the next day it felt SO much better!

What healthy living routine are you working towards?
