Essential Beauty Tools For Your Makeup Bag

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to what’s in my makeup bag, I tend to focus more on the products than the tools. However, this shouldn’t be the case, as the products are just as important as the tools. You see, without the right tools, applying makeup properly, is almost impossible. (And no, your fingers don’t count as a multifunctional makeup tool!)

If you want to ensure that you always look as good as possible, you need to invest in the right makeup tools. It’s as simple as that. Obviously, we all have our own personal tastes in terms of what work for us, but here are a few of the most essential ones that every makeup bag needs. Well, at least, I think so anyway.

Makeup brushes

What’s the worst sin you can commit when it comes to makeup? Applying your makeup using your fingers - this causes breakouts, affects the amount of coverage you get and ruins the finish. That’s why every makeup bag needs a set of good quality makeup brushes. From Real Techniques to MAC brushes, there are plenty to choose from.

What it’s important to think about are the brushes you need - what products do you use? Flat foundation, concealer, powder, blusher, bronzer, and eye brushes tend to be most crucial. There are plenty of makeup brushes at Frends online site, so it might be worth having a browse. Not only are there single brushes, but also kits made up of the most popular ones.

Well defined eyebrows make a big difference to your look, so having a pair of tweezers in your makeup bag is a must. To keep your brows looking neat and tidy, it’s best to opt for precision tweezers. These make getting rid of those pesky hairs easier and less time consuming, plus they seem to hurt less when used.

Eyebrow comb

For keeping your brows in check, an eyebrow comb is also essential. As once you’ve tweezed and filled your eyebrows in, the next step is to comb them so that a setting gel can be applied. While you can buy brow combs by themselves, you’ll find that most eye brush sets come with a brow brush and comb. For brows that look great, being able to keep them neat is a must.

Lash curler

There’s nothing like beautifully curled lashes to make your mascara look even more fabulous. To achieve the perfect curl, it’s important to invest in a good quality curler. The cheaper ones, sadly, can leave you with kinked lashes, instead of curled ones. If you’re someone who likes to do everything that they can to make their eyes pop, a lash curler is a real must.

Mascara shield

Last but not least, a mascara shield is a tool that you will think you don’t need but trust me, once you use it, you’ll never want to be without it. You know those times when you’ve spent hours creating the perfect smokey eye, only to apply mascara, blink and ruin it? Well, that’s where the mascara shield comes in. You place the shield over your eyelid or under it, depending what lashes you’re coating, and it protects the area from mascara marks. How cool is that?

There are lots of other beauty tools on the market, but these are a few of the most crucial ones. If you’re going to invest in anything, make sure it’s one of these things.
