3 Vacation Spots in the US That May Be Good for Your Mental Health

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

Beyond eating fruits and drinking lots of water, health often extends to your mental wellbeing. In a fast-paced world where life gets so hectic, it’s important to slow down and take time out to relax as well as reflect. One of the ways to do that is by spending quality time with your family. Aside from doing so during dinner times or finding time on the weekend, you can also plan a family vacation or getaway every now and again as a way of getting away from the stress and noise for a few days. On that note, you’re going to find three vacation spots that may be good for your mental health below.

Zion National Park

When contemplating the most ideal family vacation for your mental health, you should factor in things such as the ability to explore and gain new experiences with your loved ones as well as somewhere that isn’t
too stressful. For this reason, Zion National Park may be ideal as it consists of a serene environment and one that kids should love too. Seeing as Zion is Utah’s first national park, it is a destination that is both visually and historically rich. Some tips on making the most of Zion include viewing waterfalls as there are a number of large and small ones with the Emerald Pools being one of the most popular. You can also do a hike with the kids that is fairly easy so that everyone is able to participate. In terms of accommodation, do your research as Bumbleberry Inn which is a family owned hotel is likely to be a good option seeing as it’s close to the park. Overall, it should be a good vacation where you can become one with nature.

Destin
Another family vacation spot that should give your mental health a boost is Destin, which is located in the sunshine state of Florida. This is an ideal vacation if you want sun, sand, and relaxation with your loved ones. However, there are also activities like going on boat tours, visiting the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park which is ideal for the kids, fishing, and visiting Crystal Beach. The ultimate goal should be to leave any stress at home, be fully present, and enjoy your time away.

Grand Canyon
Research has shown that
taking a vacation is good for your mental health, so it’s key that you take it seriously. In light of this, another family vacation destination to think about is the Grand Canyon. Choosing somewhere that everyone will enjoy is key, so this destination is ideal as there’s something for everyone. Some things you can do include visiting the Grand Canyon village, walking along the Bright Angel Trail, and going rafting. Other exciting activities consist of a helicopter ride tour over the Grand Canyon and standing on the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Striking a balance between finding a vacation that can keep the kids fun and enable you to take a break can sometimes be a little tedious. However, it is imperative that you take a break from work and take time out to de-stress and unwind. Doing so should renew you physically and mentally and ultimately making you a better version of yourself.

Redecorating Your Home on a Budget

Redecorating your home can become a long-term project. As you finish one room, you find that the next room now looks like it also needs redecorating. Before you know it, you are doing the whole house and spending a lot of money. However, there are ways that you can save some money on your decorating costs while still keeping things looking stylish. Here are some tops tips for redecorating on a budget.

Decide Your Budget Before You Start
When it comes to things like decorating and adding little touches to your rooms, you can quickly get carried away and spend more than you intended. While this is a normal thing to do, it can throw your budget out of the window. Before you start decorating, you need to sit down with your home budget and see how much money you can spare for the decorating. If you have managed to save some money, then this will be a big advantage, if not, you will need to see how much you can set aside to get started. Even if your budget is small, you can still get things done; it might just take a little longer to do everything. If you think that you can manage the repayments, then you can also think about getting a loan to help you. There are many companies that can help so
check it out!

Start Getting Materials in Advance

A good way to make your budget go a little further is to start buying equipment and materials early. If you are in the store and you see paint or decorating equipment on sale, then this might be the best time to get them. Even if you are not intending on redecorating, having them in the cupboard or the attic in advance will mean less expense later when they might not be on sale. The same applies to any decorating or furnishings that you see in the sales. If you think that they will go with something in your rooms at a later date, or you like it, then get it while it's still cheap.

Keep the Features

Some houses have nice features that can be used to bring out the personality of a room and make a statement. In some cases, these might have been painted over or filled in by previous owners, but if you find such things, consider accentuating it rather than covering it up. For example, if you discover a lovely old wooden floor underneath your carpet, then why not keep it and give it a polish. Not only will it save you the cost of replacing the carpet, but you will also add some character to the room. If you have some nice coving in your home, then consider making it a feature piece of the room by painting it a different color from the rest of the room.

Declutter Each Room Before You Begin

 There is never a better
time to do some decluttering then when you’re redecorating the house. Take some time before you start to go through all the things you have in there and decide if you still need them. Some things you might be able to sell and make a little money towards your decorating budget. Other things you can give to local charities or throw away if they are worn or damaged. It is also a good idea to do the same with your attic, not because you are going to decorate, but because you might find something up there that will inspire you.

Use Paint

If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to wallpaper, then paint the walls instead. There are a lot of people that now paint instead of wallpapering because they can get the colors they like. You don’t have to paint all the walls. Instead you can paint one wall a strong, bold color and the others can be a lighter shade. It will make a feature of the room and stop the bold color from overpowering the room. As well as the walls, there is also now the
trend for painting the ceiling in a bold color instead of the usual white. Be sure not to pick a color that is too dark, or you might suppress the light in the room.

Reuse What You Already Have

For most people, there is a need to buy all new things for their rooms when they redecorate. However, if you don’t have the money to do that, then think about reusing some of your old furniture or fabrics. For example, if you have an old pair of curtains, then perhaps you can use them to recover a lampshade or maybe make some cushions. The same applies to chairs or tables; if you have something that you can use again, then you might be able to sand it down or repaint it so that you can blend it in with the rest of the room.

Choose the Right Lighting

Sometimes, you can change the look of a room by doing more than just painting or moving the furniture.
Changing the lighting, for example, can cause you to give the room a whole new look from a brighter space to a cozier feel for a bedroom. You can still use your existing lighting and perhaps paint it or adorn it with beads, or you can convert an old vase or bottle into a lamp. It will be a nice addition and save you some money as well. Another nice touch might be to replace some of your bulbs with remote control lights that change color. They can create a different atmosphere, and they can also be turned off remotely to make it easier.

With these ideas, you can easily redecorate your whole house without having to spend too much money. You may also be able to generate additional money by selling things you don’t need. You can then use that to buy some additional accessories to make your home look even better.

Books I Recommend You Read [May]

More great books to kick off the season of wining and reading!

The Husband Hour by Jamie Brenner
This was an amazing book about a widow whose husband died in the military after his NHL career ended from a nasty brain injury.  A filmmaker comes to town and is trying to interview people and do research about what really happened and Lauren (the widow) finally breaks down and talks to him.  Her sister Stephanie also talks to him and that's when things come to light that change everything they knew about Rory and each other.

Wreckage by Emily Bleeker
This book played out just like an amazing movie.  A group of people go down in a plane crash and end up on an island.  David and Lillian eventually become very very close but then it's back to reality when they are saved.  The story is told in the past and present from both of the main characters.  The truth starts to come out about several things that happened on the island and it keeps you wondering how it's going to affect their lives in the present and future.  A great read for sure!

When the Beat Drops by Anna Hecker
This was a super fun and entertaining read about a 17 year old girl named Mira that loves to be different.  She loves music while the rest of her family was always into sports.  She dives into her future music career for the summer but after a party she attends with her older sis she realizes she has a thing for dance music and DJing.  She meets a man that says he can make her famous.  So now she's pursuing a different type of music career until a terrible incident occurs and she realizes she can't trust or rely on anyone.  This book was so well written I could feel Mira's happiness and her pain like it was happening directly to myself.  It's a great and realistic tale of what happens all too often for a lot of people in life.

Rosie Colored Glasses by Brianna Wolfson
A young girl named Willow is growing up with two divorced parents, one whom shows her much more love than the other.  This book lets you understand how both parents feel as they navigate their situation and when tragedy strikes Willow, it's up to her dad to be there for her. This was a tragic but endearing and realistic story.

UnFu*k Yourself by Gary John Bishop
This is a badass book!  It's basically for anyone that feels beat down by life, whether it's your job, your finances, your relationships, or even your health.  Gary straight up tells you how to get out of your head and into your life.  The book is like sitting down with one of your most blunt and honest friends and just getting schooled.  There are seven assertions in the book and they are all very empowering (I personally love "I am relentless" and the way everything is written and explained it's easy to remember and to repeat to yourself throughout each day.  You can read self help books all you want, but Gary is going to give it to you straight up no BS in this book.  I love how motivated this left me feeling! It's like having a life coach at your fingertips.   And every time you doubt yourself - PICK UP THE BOOK AGAIN!  You're the one that's in control of how you life your life so get out there and live it!!  This is a must read for every person out there!

Closer Than You Know by Brad Parks
This was a thriller of a novel! It's about a woman who is framed for a drug offense and it seems like everyone's out to get her.  The problem is...she's innocent and because of everything going on, Social Services takes her son.   The story is told by various key players and as things start to unravel, you finally get to see who the REAL bad guy is, and PS - he's also a rapist! What an awesome book! It kept me so engrossed that I finished it in two days!

Not That I Could Tell by Jessica Strawser
This was a really great book about a woman and her twin children that go missing.  The entire neighborhood is buzzing about it and the fact that her soon to be ex husband is staying at the empty house makes everyone suspicious.  He begins to try to spark a romance with Izzy, one of the neighbor women and everyone is in a tizzy!  I kept wondering if he was really to blame for his wife's disappearance or if maybe she left on her own accord.  And that's exactly what the book reveals at the end. So you have to read to find out what happens!

How To Walk Away by Katherine Center

This was an amazing novel about a woman whose life is changed forever in a tragic accident with her fiancé.  As she works to recover and they grow apart a new man enters her life and her journey of recovery.  They fall for each other but it's one of those forbidden loves so they both try to move on in life without each other.   I love how this book detailed the recovery of the character after her accident and made me feel like I was standing right there next to her watching.   So will they end up together in the end?  Guess you'll have to read to find out!

My Name Is Venus Black by Heather Lloyd
This was a very interesting novel about a girl who kills her mother's boyfriend after she's tired of his perverted ways. Since she's so young, she does her few years in juvie and during that time her mentally challenged younger brother goes missing.  When she finally gets out she searches for him.  The story covers what happens to her brother while she's locked up and how Venus and her mother rekindle their relationship.   All she wants is for her mother to be on her side.  Meanwhile, her brother Leo has actually been taken care of by a family when Leo's abductor up and leaves him one day.   It's a tale of right and wrong on a whole new level.

Gun Love by Jennifer Clement
This was an easy read about a girl named Pearl who lives in the back of a car with her mom.  Pearl makes very blunt observations about the world around here which sadly includes guns and violence.  When it touches her personally and she's thrown into the foster care system she has to decide if she wants to settle or keep moving.   It's a great look at how the events that changed her life are forever changing every detail about it.

Love Match: The Art and Science of Finding Your Ideal Partner by Dr. Shaelyn Pham
This is a great "self help" book that covers how you can find true, healthy, and meaningful love.  A good relationship should be full of love and add to your life, not take away from it.  I think that's the problem with so many relationships these days. I love how Dr. Pham explains the four types of intimacy and the differences between love and attachment.   And if you're heartbroken Dr. Pham even discusses how to find love again.  And she even talks about my favorite topic - the five love languages which I think everyone should know so they can understand other people and how they give and receive love as well as how each of us ourselves gives and receives love.  This is a great book that offers realistic and honest advice on how to better manage conflict in long-term relationships, and how to keep things exciting.   It's a very down to earth book that's easy to understand regardless of what kind of relationship you are in currently.

Who Are You Trudy Herman  by B.E. Beck
This book is about Trudy Herman the badass girl that was taught to stand up for herself and the truth.  This book takes place in the 40's and it deals with Trudy and her family being sent to a German-American Internment Camp in Texas.   Trudy makes friends there but after 2 years her family is released and they settle down in Missouri.  This book shows the hate and bigotries that comes naturally to the white residents.  Trudy sees how even those black people she loves, like the housekeeper are being tortured by the crisis.  Then Trudy gets a chance to stand up for the truth.  It's an amazing coming of age story of someone living in a time when so much was going on in the country and the world and how she still was fearless and decided to stand up for what's right in her own neighborhood.

Straying by Molly McCloskey
This was an amazing novel about a woman and her marriage and the emotional ups and downs she experiences when she embarks on an affair.  Rather than shaming her, I love how the author details all the emotions including the anxieties and the lust that she feels for another man. It's a poetic look at the why and how of an affair.

Those We Love Most by Lee Woodruff
This was a beautiful story about a family that suffers a tragic lost in the midst of a time in some of their lives where they are struggling and even seeking happiness from a source outside of their marriage.  It's amazing to see how the affairs can transform and evolve the characters even for the better and how some secrets are better kept to yourself.

The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll
WOW this book was scandalous and AWESOME! It follows the story of five women on a reality show (think real housewives type stuff) and really does a good job of showing how youth seems to be EVERYONE's obsession in the public eye and how women try to interact with each other while trying to grow themselves in everyday life.   And there's a pretty big twist too as the book uncovers what happened to one of the characters who died.

The Drowning Girls by Paula Treick DeBoard
Paula is an amazing author and this book did not disappoint.  This story is told from the points of view of a husband and wife during a rough period not only in their community, with him being employed as a teacher and his wife as a counselor.  Their daughter befriends a girl named Kelsey who is NOTHING but trouble.   Kelsey sets out to burn their world down and this is one of those books that leaves you astounded and gutted and so glad it's not happening to you.

Enjoying Summer As A Responsible Dog Owner

Monday, May 28, 2018

Summer is a great time of year.  The sun is out, the weather's great, and there's always something fun to do whether it's inside or outside the house.   As a dog owner summer can be good and bad.  There's more for my dogs to get into outside, and even inside when I'm not in there watching them.   But it's also a great time for them to enjoy the outdoors with me so they don't go stir crazy inside.

Today I have some tips for how to enjoy summer responsibly as a dog owner.

1 || Hydration
Hydration is not only important to humans but to dogs as well.  Think of how they feel with that fur coat year round.  Always provide your dog water when they are outside for an extended period of time with you.  Make sure the water is clean and fresh too.  If you let water sit in their outdoor bowl it can attract mosquitos.  When your dog comes inside, make sure there's fresh water in their bowl.  Also be mindful of the sun.  If your dog is outside with you in the backyard while you do garden work, and it's a super sunny day, make sure he has some shade or bring him inside after 10-15 minutes.  It's never a good thing for a dog to overheat and become dehydrated.

2|| Ticks
Whether your dog goes outside a lot or not, you need to treat for ticks and fleas.  Ticks can ride inside with you and hop on your dog.   If you have a dog that's outside A LOT or goes in the woods and on trails with you, consider the Lyme Disease shot at your vet.  Also, make sure you treat for fleas and ticks every month with a topical ointment.  It literally takes a few minutes and it can make a huge difference in protecting your furry friend!  Keep your dog away from wood piles and brush and tall grass.  Check him top to bottom when you come inside.  And definitely make it a point to check his ears. I notice a lot of people have ticks in their dog's ears because it's the easiest ALL SKIN place they can find to start feasting.

3|| Proper Nutrition
My dogs love Blue Buffalo Divine Delights Pate from Chewy.  It's easy for them to consume since it's soft and it provides a nice meal aside from their usual kibble.  Since your dogs are probably more active in the summer make sure you are providing a food that has protein in it.  Blue Buffalo Divine Delights Pate are packed with protein in the form of real meat at the very first ingredient.  There are no by-products and no corn, wheat, or soy fillers. And of course no artificial colors or flavors.  This food also has vitamins and minerals in the form of these meaty chunks so that your dog is getting all of the daily necessities he needs to function!

      4|| Avoiding Potty Accidents Inside
If you are away for a long period of time, consider a crate or dog pen so you don't get home to any unwanted accidents on your nice new carpet.   And if you are outside doing yard work or socializing and you can't have your dog with you, make sure you make it a point to check on him and let him out to potty at least once an hour.

      5|| Outdoor Safety
Of course any time of year you should be mindful of outdoor safety but especially in Summer.  Always make sure your dog is on a secure leash and has the proper identification tags on his collar in case he runs off.  If your dog is microchipped make sure your information is up to date! Always keep an eye on your dog when he is outside and monitor what he's doing so you can prevent him from eating anything that may be poisonous.  Don't let him roam around without a leash, especially if other people in your neighborhood walk their dogs.

Does your dog like to spend time outside in the Summer or is the heat too much?

How To Make a Cheese Board for National Cheese Day on June 4th

      Friday, May 25, 2018

Yeah that's right... National Cheese Day is June 4th.  A whole entire day with a great excuse to celebrate our best addiction - CHEESE!! I swear I could eat cheese everyday and never get sick of it.  I've been known to eat cheese straight out of the bag when it's shredded and I could easily destroy a block of cheese by myself.  Don't Judge Me!!!

So to celebrate National Cheese Day I wanted to make a quick tutorial on how to make an adorable cheese board for the next time you're entertaining.  Some cheese boards have other stuff on them like dried fruits or mustards but I like mine with strictly cheese and some meat since that's what everyone tends to devour most.

Step 1: Get a Wooden Cutting Board
They have cute shapes and sizes of boards.  I have little mini cutting boards that I use strictly for occasions like this. The best part is you can do your cutting right on the board and use it as the display.

      Step 2: Purchase
Choose several different varieties of cheese.  I like to get at least one that doesn't have a super strong flavor, 2 with strong flavors, and 1 or 2 spicy flavors.  This gives everyone options and the different cheese taste different with certain wines and other meats and fruits.

      Step 3: Cut it
The key to an appealing cheeseboard is if you plan to keep the main block of cheese on there, you don't cut the entire thing at once.  Cut several slices and let them just fall forward which creates an awesome display.  Once the sliced pieces get consumed, you can either cut some more or allow guests to cut slices themselves. With the meats I usually slice them on a separate cutting board and put only the sliced or cubed pieces out on the cheese board.

      Step 4: Arrange
This is the fun part but also it's pretty easy.  Just display everything so it looks pretty on the board.  It doesn't have to be perfect at all.  No one will sit there and be like "Oh, wow this cheese board is very unorganized."

      Step 4: Serve
Enjoy your art and the delicious taste of cheese!! Cheese boards are perfect for any occasion.   And they're great inside or outside.  People even arrange cheese boards on the go when they are visiting a vineyard or having a picnic.

What foods do you put on your boards?

      How To Achieve Customer Success

      Thursday, May 24, 2018

The goal of every company or business is generally to achieve customer success which means that a customer gets what they want (their desired outcome) through their interactions with your company or business.  So whether you are providing them with a product, or assisting them with a service, you will have helped them achieve their outcome.  That being said, how do you do that?   Well, here are some tips to help you keep your customers happy so that both you and they can achieve customer success.

      Fulfill Their Needs
Every customer or client that comes to you has something that needs fulfilled.   Your job is to determine what they need if they don't already know, and provide them with it.  For me, when I published my own book on finances I knew that the goal I had achieved by getting out of debt was something other people would want and the service I could provide for them was to explain how I did it and help motivate them.  If your product or business deals with beauty products then your customers end goal is probably to have nice skin so think of how you can help them achieve that.  A productis great but you also want to guide people on how to use it and how to properly care for themselves.

      Listen to Their Feedback
How do you know if you're doing a good job fulfilling their needs?  By asking them! Use social media or email newsletters to request feedback on your product or services.  Take everything they say seriously.  The things they have positive feedback about are things you're doing well so continue to do them.  If you can tweak them then go right ahead as long as your customers have good feedback about it.  If they  have complaints, don't take them as a personal attack but rather constructive criticism.  Change your practices to better meet their needs and eliminate complaints.  Don't be afraid to reach out personally to someone and ask to discuss what specifically they disliked about your product or service.

      Envision Their Struggles
If you were a customer using your own product or service, what parts would you struggle with? Affording the pricing is a great example.  A possible solution would be to allow payment plans.  What do your customers struggle with and how can you continue to offer ways to meet their needs and solve their problems?  When I wrote my book I had to imagine what parts may be difficult for the average person and I made myself go back and further break down and explain processes in a much simpler way.

      Interact with Them
Get to know and interact with each customer and building a personal relationship.  Send personal notes or emails letting them know how much you appreciate their business and asking them for any feedback. This makes them connect with you on a more intimate level and allows them to trust you even more.  When people feel appreciated they will be more likely to recommend your company.

Hopefully you can keep this tips in mind and not only grow your company or brand but continue to keep customers happy and satisfied.

A Rat Update [Sad + Happy]

      Wednesday, May 23, 2018

I'll do the sad part first I guess.... you may recognize Charlotte the rat from A LOT of my rat posts over the last couple of years.  Well she sadly passed away last week at 3 years of age which is normal and really good for a rat.  She was such a sweet girl.

And the happy news? Meet Meeko and Jax.  They are two fairly young baby rat brothers I got shortly after Charlotte passed away.

They have the sweetest faces and personalities so far.   It's been quite a long time since I owned a male rat but they tend to be more docile and less hormonal than females (shocker) and are very good at just sitting calmly in your lap while you watch TV.

Since these guys are young, I'm giving them a week to adjust to their cage and to build some trust with me (I'm holding them A LOT) and then I'm going to work on training them.  I'll be sure to post updates here and on social media along the way.  And you'll be seeing them in more posts about pet products too!

Charlotte was laid to rest next to the rat I had before her, Hoodie.

      How To Grow Your Facebook

      Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Ah, Facebook.... you fickle brat.  If you are a blogger or business owner you likely already know how difficult Facebook pages can be with their all too often updates that make it even harder for your fans to see what you post.  So today, I'm going to give you some tips that despite any updates and changes, should still help you grow your Facebook.

      1. Engage Your Readers in Comments
When people comment on your posts, make sure you respond to them and don't just do so by liking what they said.  Respond with a full sentence or two and tag them in the response.  This makes them feel appreciated, noticed, and they are more likely to respond next time as well.

      2. Post Things That Require Interaction
Whenever you post a photo or share a link to a blog post, make sure to include a call to action at the end.  Make it something that requires people that see the post to answer a question like "Which of these is your favorite way to use vinegar around the house?" or ask them to "LIKE" if they agree and if not, leave a comment as to why they disagree. The good ol' Facebook algorithm makes it so that if people are engaging and interacting on your posts, you'll be showing up more in their feed.

      3. Make Viral Posts That Can Be Shared
If you post a really pretty graphic or very informative post and ask your fans to share it, make sure there's a part in the original post or on the image that makes a note to follow your page for similar content.  This way when people see these shared posts and think "Wow I love this type of information", they can see where they can get more.

      4. Discover Best Traffic Times and Schedule Posts
So there are lots of tools that show you how much engagement each post of yours gets.  Take advantage of that and look for a pattern where your engagement is higher and what day of the week and time of the day it is.  Then make sure you schedule future posts for around that same time.  Remember that your readers may be in different time zones as well so posting something at 5 am Eastern time is definitely not going to be seen right away by the West Coast because they're asleep.

      5. Get Personal
It's nice for your fans and readers to see the personal side of you, not just the business side.  So in between the promotions of your brand, be sure to give them a glimpse of your life.  Share a newly redecorated room from your home, a glimpse of what you are up to over the weekend, and even a photo of you with your family and pets.  This makes everything about you more relatable.

      6. Paid Advertising
Facebook does offer paid advertising where you can pay a fee and they promote your post to get even more views, engagement, etc.  Try to do this once a month at least. It's a great investment and you get to see a full breakdown of the results afterwards.  You can specify the specific demographics of the people you want to engage, the location, and even what other people in your field do that gets good results.  And if you're not doing so good along the way, Facebook messages you with tips on how to improve the results.

So hopefully with a few of these tips you'll see your likes go up and your engagement increase! Good luck!

Do you have any tips for growing your Facebook??

      Another Stella Update

      Monday, May 21, 2018

This site has affiliate links and sponsored content. Read my Disclosure Policy.

A few months ago we realized Stella was limping and it turned out she injured her ACL.  Since then we took steps to help her heal conservatively to avoid the expense and risk from surgery.

It's been since January and she is doing so so much better!  She still holds her one leg up when she tries to run super fast across hard floor but that's because she doesn't want to slip with it again.  Once she's on carpet or outside on the grass she uses all 4.

It's still going to take some time to get her used to using all 4 on ALL SURFACES but we're working on it.

We still have carpet runners in different areas of the house to help Stella stay cruising along! Another important thing I began doing was pushing Stella's back end back and forth which caused her to use both legs to hold her up and balance the weight.  Sometimes dogs are so used to not using something or they are afraid it will hurt if they use it so they continue to hold their paw up.  That's exactly the case with Stella it seems because after we did those exercises for 2 days I saw her using the "bad" leg again.  She just needed to be convinced.

I also have been giving Stella Nutramax Cosequin (DS) Plus from Chewy! These chews just get plopped into her mouth once a day and she enjoys the taste.  It's so so important to use a product like Cosequin.  Cosequin plays a vital role in maintaining optimal joint function.  It helps the cartilage production and it protects the cartilage that's already there so it doesn't breakdown.  Cosequin is also the only glucosamine sulfate supplement show to be safe and effective.  The glucosamine and chondroitin help with mobility too and these even contain omega-3's to promote a healthy coat and skin.  Stella needs to be on this for life so she always has healthy joints and can jump, rise, and climb her doggy steps.  It's never too soon to start giving this as a supplement so that you never have to deal with joint issues with your dogs.

I'll post another update soon.  But for now I'm going to keep working on Stella using all 4 legs ALL the time.

Why You Need To Think Outside Of The Box When It Comes To Transport

      Sunday, May 20, 2018

As women, we don’t always tend to think too much about how we get from A to B. While you will often find that some of us will be auto enthusiasts, most of us won’t be. Sure, we all like a nice car, but that’s generally where our interests can lie. And at the same time, we probably always tend to go for the same kinds of cars too. But that can get pretty boring. So why not think about shaking things up a little bit? Let’s take a look at a few other auto options that can make sure you start to think outside the box!

      A Truck

First of all, you should consider a truck. When you have stuff to cart around with you (especially the kids’ or dogs’ stuff), a truck is great. And you know that you’ll look just as great driving around in your big truck as you could a super sports car!

      A Bicycle

If you want to make sure that your choice is kinder on the environment and you don’t have too far to go, then a cute bicycle (complete with basket) is always a cool idea.

      A Motorcycle

And finally, maybe a motorcycle would take your fancy? Motorcycles have often be the choice of baby boomers, but these guys are starting to grow out of it due to aging. It’s safe to say that there’s not enough women riders on the road! And motorcycles can be a lot of fun as long as you’re safe. So why not think about giving the riding lifestyle a try? Take a look at the below infographic to see how you could help save the industry when you do.
