Even if you are like me and stay home on New Year's Eve, it can still be fun to have something to do especially since everyone usually has New Year's Day off. So without having to get all fancy and dressed up, here are some cozy ways to spend New Year's Eve. Clean!
Even if it's a chore task like this, you have the time to do it and you can start the new year off in a clean and tidy home.
Movie marathon
Consider checking movies that you've been wanting to see off a list by renting them at home and enjoy them with popcorn and drinks.
Binge read
Get that stack of books from the library and spend the entire day and night reading!
Dinner at home
Steam your own crab legs, make a delicious dip or casserole, or simply order in. Feast from the comfort of your own home.
Game Night
Spend the night with your family playing games or get together with some neighbors that don't have plans. Everyone can walk home safely if they decide to enjoy some alcoholic beverages too!
Journal
Consider journaling on your reflections of the past year and your hopes for the year ahead.
Watch the ball drop
You can do this from the comfort of your own home. I prefer Andy and Anderson because they keep me laughing all night long.
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you a safe and healthy new year!
