Her Philly is a lifestyle blog for young women dining, shopping, playing & living in the city of Philadelphia. I started my blog when I moved to the city after graduating college and was looking for a Philadelphia guide for women my age. I wanted a place that gave realistic advice for practical & affordable things to do as a 20 something in our amazing city. Her Philly covers everything from the new spot to get your hair done, fun food festivals, great first date ideas and more. 5 Things About Myself
1. My family & I are very close. My parents live at the Jersey Shore (think surfers, not guidos), so I try and go home as much as possible to get some color on my translucent skin tone. 

2.I love make-up (especially bright lip color). Before I discovered blogs, I watched YouTube beauty guru tutorials & hauls daily. 

3. I have a long commute, so I am obsessed with Audible. I just finished Silver Linings Playbook and I'm "reading" Water For Elephants now.

4. My favorite artist is Kurt Halsey. I have his sketches all over my apartment. 

5. I have a serious addiction to pizza. One of my favorite apps is the Pizza Compass - and yes, it is exactly what you think it is.

Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia {Everything You Need To Know} - Every year, Philadelphia (and over a dozen cities around the world) hosts a pop-up, all white picnic called Diner en Blanc. The event has a lot of rules your must follow to attend, so, as a first time guest myself, I interviewed the co-host and answered everything you need to know about DEB.

The 10 Hottest Men Wearing Philadelphia Jerseys Right Now - Being young & single, I am a big fan of all of the professional athletes in our city. I ranked my ten favorite men currently playing a sport in Philly, and even got my blog read to my #1 pick live on the air from 92.5 XTU.

1. I was Captain of my High School's Dance Team. We won National Championship Titles 7 years in a row!

2. I am 100% Penn State proud. Both of my parents attended and my sister is currently in her Junior year.

3. My guilty pleasure: binge watching TV episodes on Netflix. I spent the summer watching all 9 seasons of Grey's Anatomy and I don't regret a single minute of it!

Meet My Fellow Blogger Tierney of Stouts and Stilettos

If you enjoy my blog then I'm sure you will enjoy the blogs of some friends of mine! This week I'm introducing you to my fellow blogger friend Tierney of Stouts and Stilettos! 

Stouts and Stilettos is all things craft beer from the woman's perspective. We provide information to the world regarding craft beer in the form of industry news, reviews, and promotion. The posts on my site are primarily written by women or relate to women in the craft beer industry, but we also provide content on the industry as a whole including beer, festival, and product reviews. This year we'll also be hosting our own events throughout Harrisburg as well as even doing some charity beer collaborations with local breweries.

4 Things ABout Myself

1. I went to Mansfield University and graduated in 2009. 

2. While I have a degree in elementary eduction, I'm a cubicle drone by day, and a craft beer evangelista by night.

3. In my free time I clearly enjoy sipping my favorite brews as well as my secret obsession with fashion and nail art. 

4. I have a kitten named Simcoe that acts more like a dog and sometimes takes over my Instagram.

Tap Takeovers and Why You Should Go - just about every bar around town will have a poster up at one point saying 'So and So's tap takeover next week' which can often go overlooked. There are many reasons why you should check it out, even if you aren't sure you'll like their product and this post shed light as to why.

A Few Thoughts on Credibility - Do women have to try harder to prove themselves in the beer world? This post explores some thoughts on the difficulty of being a woman in something that seems to be a man's world - an experience many of us have shared at some point.

Meet My Fellow Blogger Aoife of Aofie in Wonderland

If you enjoy my blog then I'm sure you will enjoy the blogs of some friends of mine!  This week I'm introducing you to my fellow blogger friend Aofie of Aofie in Wonderland. She's got a fun personality and likes a little bit of everything, just like I do!

Aoife in Wonderland was started in the Summer of 2013. It's a space for me to be creative and explore my interests on an online platform. I wanted to shy away from being labelled a generic beauty blogger, and therefore aim to keep my posts varied. I explore my own range of interests, including literature, music, charity and awareness, lifestyle and cosmetics. I think there's something to suit everyone, and I aim to put my own stamp on all that I do. It's exciting that I've been accepted into the blogging community, and that I'm building up a readership, the future for AIW looks bright!

1. I'm a full time student in the University College of Dublin (UCD) studying English literature and German.

2. I'm also a waitress and mother to a bichon frise puppy called Rosy, who thinks she's human.

Hey Ask Away readers! I'm Hannah and I blog over at Hannah, Here! I live in the great state of Colorado, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live! I blog about my life as a twenty something, posting about anything from fashion to baking. I'm a total movie buff and on a quest to watch every movie that's ever been nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards! (#nerdalert) I'm a big fan of the Colorado Buffaloes and Pure Barre. I walk a lot and I foster kittens for the local humane society. Right now, I have four: Sherlock, Holmes, Watson, and Moriarty. 5 Things ABout Myself: 

1.      I attended the University of Colorado - Boulder, but I took some time off to work at Walt Disney World. (Best decision ever!)

2.      I'm a total cat person. In addition to fostering over 40 kittens for the humane society since 2009, I also have two cats of my own.

3.      I love, love, love college football, but I'm slowly coming around to the NFL, thanks to my Chargers-loving boyfriend. But, Go Broncos!

4.      I definitely prefer to hang out inside, at a movie theater or cozied up by the fire with a book, but my boyfriend has gotten me into hiking, camping, canoeing, and other outdoor activities. And there's no better place to love the outdoors than Colorado.

5.      I work as a para-paralegal, meaning I don't yet have a paralegal's certificate, but I function as one for the time being.

Sundance Film Festival - It's a movie lover's dream come true! I was accepted to volunteer for the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. 

A Weekend at Grand Lake - One of my favorite memories with Christian was getting away for the weekend to Grand Lake, Colorado and just relaxing in the cool, mountain air. It was heaven!

Meet My Fellow Blogger Monica of Moda by Monika

If you enjoy my blog then I'm sure you will enjoy the blogs of some friends of mine!  This week I'm introducing you to my fellow blogger friend Monica of Moda by Monika.  She's got a fun personality and likes a little bit of everything, just like I do!

 Hi!  My name is Monica.  I blog over at Moda by Monika which is currently in need of a new name so this will most likely change within the next few months.  My blog is mostly about fashion but I do include DIY tutorials, and lifestyle type posts.  A lot of my DIY’s at the moment are nail art, but I am starting to include more home décor as well.  I started my blog back in 2010 but stopped shortly after due to life getting in the way.  Three years later I started blogging again in the spring of 2013.  I’ve lived in Texas and that’s where I rescued the love of my life; Lilly the puggle.  Lilly and her best friend Kuba (the other dog) make a guest appearance quite frequently in my blog.  I work full time and blog full time.  Don’t get me wrong it can get very time consuming but if you are doing something you love or are passionate about it’s definitely worth it.  So I will leave you with my favorite phrase, “Hakuna Matata.”

1.       I’m 100% Polish and I’ve heard every Polish joke out there.

2.       I’m a fur mama to two beautiful little fur babies.

3.       I have my MBA and am finally able to use it at my job.

4.       I LOVE everything that has to do with the color pink.

5.       I’m a cowgirl boot wearin’ Jersey Girl.

Two of my favorite blog posts are actually both very deep.  They have nothing to do with fashion which is predominantly what my blog is about but it shows that I have been through some struggles in life and I am more appreciative because of it.  My post titled Texas has to do with my big move to Texas, what led up to the move, and what led up to me moving back to Jersey.  It was an adventure both good and bad but I would do it all over again if I had the chance.  The second post is about some inspirational people who I’ve crossed paths with.  They are the people who have made me realize that being upset isn’t worth it.  Being happy and not taking things for granted is the way to live life.  Not having regrets, because that is the reason I am who I am today.  I have made some stupid mistakes in my life but I don’t regret any of them.
