My Jellyfish Charger has Saved My Battery Problems

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

This site has affiliate links and sponsored content. Read my Disclosure Policy.

I am so so so happy to finally resolve the issues of my iPhone dying so quickly. There have been many times when I've been at a blog conference or other event and I'm trying to share things constantly on social media and then my phone battery begins to die and panic sets in. That's all come to an end now that I found out about Jellyfish and their lifesaving products! Okay, maybe it's more of a phone saving concept but still, it takes a lot of stress out of my life. Jellyfish has all kinds of awesome products like phone cases, accessory sets, audio accessories, and power accessories. Not only that but they all come in fun vibrant colors.

I actually received a Go Go Juice Charger in Bodacious Blue. Not only does the bright color make it easy to find in my handbag but the shape and size of the charging pack is perfect! It comes with a 200 mAh battery that can provide your phone with a full charge and 6-8 hours of additional talk time. It also has a Micro AND a USB portal so it's universal. You can use it for different types of tablets and smart phones and there's even an LED battery level indicator light that shows you how much charge you have left. It can retain a full charge up to 1 year and if it isn't in use it will automatically shut off. And it's got a built in LED flashlight. It seriously doesn't get any cooler than that. So much convenience and power all in that little device!

I

was so impressed when I used this at the past few events. It gave my phone so much more battery life! I charged it overnight before the day of the event and then it was ready to go in the morning. Even with it plugged into my phone it didn't add any obnoxious bulk. In fact I love how lightweight it is! Everyone needs one of these because you never know when you may run out and not be around a charging source like a wall outlet. That's normally the case for me when I'm on the go or at an event so this has come in SO handy!

Welcome to Week 4 of the iStyle series. I've teamed up with Clique Shops to bring you a series called How iStyle with Technology. Clique strongly believes that their Fashion Cases can transform an iPhone info a fashion accessory simply by coordinating your case with your outfit. They have partnered with outfit designers around the world to give inspiring outfit ideas to their customers. Their cases are for iPhone 4 & 5 as well as the iPad and iPad mini. They also just started offering cases for Samsung S4, S3, and S4 Mini. Since I have an iPhone I'll be focusing on those.

Styling is all about mixing and matching, and when you style an accessory, you want to base the rest of your outfit off of it. So for these posts, I've started with the cell phone case, then based my outfit selections off of that.

So here are this weeks iStyle Looks! The theme of these looks is bold wild patterns and prints and how to style them so they STILL make the more bold statement.

The first look is called Wild Thing and uses the Go Wild iPhone5 case. Since I wanted the leopard print to stand out the most, I used a more toned down pattern in the pants, hence the camo skinny jeans from Target and kept it simple with a black top from Body Central.

The second look is called Sugar Sugar, and uses the Sugary Pink iPhone4 case to make a nice feminine chic look. I simply used a solid pink top from Body Central and paired it with these adorable polka dot skinny jeans from Target.

Check back next week for the second to last iStyle series post!

5 Ways the Covet Fashion App is Good for Shopping and Fashion Addictions

Friday, November 22, 2013

So when I was at LuckyFABB last month I discovered the most amazing fashion app ever for my iPhone. It's called Covet and it's basically an opportunity for you to build a wardrobe, style different looks, enter into contests to get cash (for more clothing) and tickets (to enter into events), and vote on other's looks!! The best part about it is that it's actual items that are currently sold by actual brands and designers such as Kill City, Hudson, and more!!!

So here are 5 reasons why I love it and why you will too.

1. It gives me my shopping fix.

Whether it's an item I can't afford in real life or just something I want to buy because it's cute, I can save my cash and purchase it in the app, all while saving money in real life!

2. It gives me outfit inspiration for my own closet.

I screen shot outfits I like even by other players and I seriously have seen a major improvement in the outfits I've been wearing in real life lately, mostly because I got inspiration from the app!

3. I discovered some new brands.

And I even discovered that some brands are more affordable than I once thought! I am now keeping my eye on some Kill City pieces that I saw on their real life website!

4. You get virtual cash for shopping when you refer friends!

Speaking of... if you use my link, you will get me cash and then I will be able to go to your closet, check out your looks and even hit the LIKE button on them!

5. You can win REAL LIFE PRIZES!

They hold little style challenges on the Covet Instagram page and they even have real life prizes offered in weekly challenges!!!

The first look is called Pleasantly Warm . I used the Pleasant Warm iPhone 4 case and decided to play off the bluein the flowers. The blouse is from Romwe and is an off-white color with blue print graphics of birds and butterflies. I paired that with cobalt blue skinny jeans from Old Navy and a necklace with a lighter blue.

The second look is called Blue Skies. I used the green from the flower stem on the Blue Sky iPhone4 case to coordinate with a nice green top from Romwe and some crop zip up pants from New York & Company.
