A Rainy Day At A Vineyard

I recently (okay it was several weeks ago) attended an outdoor celebration at the Vineyard at Hershey. It was a rainy day but I didn't let that cramp my style.

It's no surprise by now that I love dressing in casual attire especially when I get dress it up just a bit.  I just love being comfortable and I shouldn't have to sacrifice that just to look good so I try to get the best of both worlds.

This signature tank in blue bonnet from Modbod is so comforatble and really flatters my body.  It was such a hot day when I took these photos that I totally decided to just wear it alone.  Which brings me to my next point of making the most out of everything in your wardrobe even the basic layering pieces.   There's nothing wrong with wearing a plain old top!

It really looked great with some embellished torn up jeans from Silver Jeans. 

And of course I had to add a pair of wedge heels, Sea Breeze Wedges from Nomad Footwear to be exact!

These 3 inch wedges are so comfortable and casual but they really helped to dress this look up a bit. 

I am so glad I have a neutral color with these because they go with SO MUCH!

I Work Out to Save the Orcas + A Fitness Update

One thing I have learned about myself is that I'm not afraid to stand up for what I believe in and that's a huge thing when it comes to animal rights.  

 

 So what does my shirt mean?   Well I already blogged about why I'll never set foot in Sea World again so pretty much that post explains it all.   I hope that in my lifetime I live to see the end of whales in captivity.   Atleast an open sea pen would be great. 

 

I love that I found this shirt!!!! It makes me so proud to share my view on the whole whales in captivity issue.

This is a very serious thing to me and I love when people try to question it because the post above should answer all of their questions!

As for my fitness update....

 

I've beek kicking ass at running 3 miles and 2 weeks back I did 3 miles in 30 minutes and 49 seconds! I'm quite proud of myself!!   I'm going to be spending the next 2 weeks preparing for my 5k so I need to get a good time down!
