It can be fun to take your furry friend with you when you go out and about now that the weather isn't so crazy hot. But where can you go? Here are some ideas!
Farmer's Markets
Most outdoor farmer's markets are dog-friendly (but it never hurts to double check). This is a great way for you to shop local and get your pup out with you for some socializing.
Breweries and Wineries
Of course check first, but many breweries and wineries are pet-friendly when you're sitting outside. Spend a relaxing afternoon or evening enjoying yourself without feeling bad for leaving your doggo at home.
Outdoor carnivals/festivals/picnics
Sometimes a neighborhood or city has outdoor events and they allow dogs so be sure to pack your pooch along as well as anything they may need like water, treats, and poop bags. This is another great chance for socializing them.
Drive-in Movies
If your dog loves car rides, drive-in movies are a great place to bring them (of course check that they're allowed first). They can enjoy the comfort of snuggling in the car with you. Make sure your car is roomy enough for them to be in there for a few hours.
Stores that Allow Dogs
There are actually plenty of stores that allow dogs inside. You would have to do your research and check with your local store but if you search online for a list of stores in your country or state that allow dogs inside, this is a great way to do some shopping with your best friend.
Where have you taken your dog lately?
