Why Do Dogs Love Duck?

Yea, well if your dog doesn't like it mine sure do!

The other week I let them try Sojos all-natural treats with duck and cherry flavor.   They are obsessed!

Sojos makes their treats from scratch with whole foods and they bake them to perfection all in the USA.  All of the ingredients are human-quality.  There is no wheat or corn.  It's like making the treats in your own kitchen!

The dogs would do any trick I could make up just to get a hold of another duck treat!    I highly recommend this for your fur babies!

Staying Organized At Home and On the Go

Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Everyone knows that I just LOVE organizing so it's no surprise that I even keep my medications and vitamins organized and ready to go.  However, when traveling it can be stressful to remember to bring the right pills for the right days without ruining your organization at home.

Because of this, you will need a practical and versatile solution just like what I use...  pill boxes and solutions from the Sabi THRIVE line. They have practical solutions for everyday life.

I use the Day Box, Holster Grande, and Chop from the Sabi THRIVE Line.

The Chop comes in handy because I have some daily medications that I need to cut in half and I've literally hurt my fingers trying to do it myself.

It's so simple to use the Chop.  Just insert the pill, press down with your palm, and CHOP!

The Holster Grande is wonderful for someone who is on the go for a day and needs something to fit into a pocket or a purse compartment.

It's sleek, secure, and has a selection of compartments for you to store your pills.

The Day Box is my favorite BY FAR! It holds 3 sets of pills for each day of the week and each day can twist apart if you are on the go and need to only take a few days worth of pills with you.

The rubber lid is easy to peel back, but you won't have to worry about jarring it and making all the other pills fly out of their designated compartments!

I absolutely love the stylish modern look of this pill box.  It's also really easy to wash and keep clean!!

Check out Sabi on Facebook and Twitter and also take a look at their blog!

Are you as organized as I am?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

How I Decorate My Bedroom

So a lot of people ask how I organize my room.... I'm living back at my parents' for now so my space is limited.  I love being more of a minimalist but that can be really hard sometimes so I do my best.  I try to make it fun by adding pretty decorative items but not overdoing it.

On my dresser I keep my makeup brushes, some currently used perfumes, and some bracelets.  I use decorative canisters to display them all.

The deer head is from Target and I am obsessed with it! I use it to hang my bracelets as well!

Some of the room decor I have is things that completely go with my personality.  Pretty jars can double as storage (which I love to organize with!) so that's a win-win for me.  The jars are from Jars by Monica!
I like to stay very organized with my planner, which is a Filofax.  Obviously I have several so I like to keep them on display on my shelves.
When it comes to books, I embraced minimalism last year, so I only keep the ones I absolutely love. All others I try to just read a digital copy.  I like to display my books by category. I'm not finished organizing them yet but the one category I did finish is Buddhism themed books. And I decided to display them with my Buddha statue which I also use to store and display my mala meditation beads.

I also keep the makeup I use most often in a little acrylic drawer set on my dresser.

And there are my decorative jars again!

So what do you think?

I Get My Cheese on the Side of the Road + I Play With Cows

Tuesday, February 25, 2014

Ahh did I make you curious as to why in the world I would ever buy cheese on the side of the road?   Well, let me correct the visual that you have right now....

THAT is what I meant.   It's literally a little shed stand on this farm alongside a road in Middletown, PA.   But let me back track...

I was at a wine tasting event at Vineyard at Hershey and I met Kendra.

Kendra was super friendly and was giving out samples of cheese...her own cheese.  That's right, Jubilee Heritage Cheese is a family farm that makes their own cheese.   Jubilee Heritage Cheese is state certified and all locally farmed.

I got to try some of their delicious cheese and spreads and I was sold!

Kendra gave me some simply instructions to get to her farm stand.  So I will share them with you here:

Jubilee Heritage Cheese
1306 Pecks Road
Middletown, PA 17057
717.944.3076 (Kendra Nissley)
jubileeheritagecheese@gmail.com

It's located 3 mils south of Square of Middletown, PA following 441.

Turn left onto Pecks Road (TMI Training Center)
They are the first farm on the left.

When I pulled up I saw a whole lot of those things above!!

There was plenty of parking in their little lot in front of the barn.   You just make your way up to the red shed and open it to reveal the fridge!

Inside you will find all different cheeses and spreads labeled with prices.

This was our haul!   I am sorry but $3.50 for delicious cheese?   That's a better deal than the less-than-satisfactory cheeses in most supermarkets!!!

Their Cranberry Walnut Cheese Spread was AH-MAZING! Oh, and so was their Bacon Ranch.

Kendra and her family have a house right next to the barn so they can always come out to help you if you need it.  There is a place to put your money inside the shed.

Oh and if you are wondering how or why I was playing with cows....

They were too cute!

If you live anywhere near central Pennsylvania you must make a trip out to check out Jubilee Heritage Cheese.  They plan to have a Facebook page in the future.

But for now, if you would like to order anything and arrange for a pick up you can email Kendra at jubileeheritagecheese@gmail.com or call her at 717-944-3076.
