Awesome Knit Hats - Made by my friend!

Okay, so I have a friend who makes these amazing knit hats!  She contacted me after I did a post about celebrities and their knit hats. She actually knits these hats herself!  Knit hats are always in, and they are great for windy days. Not only do they keep your head warm but they will gently keep your hair in place!  She is a great friend and such a sweet lady.  Here are a few pictures of some of her hats.

AnimalHeadGear.com is such a cute shop.  It’s full of animal head gear that is affordable and looks great!  It make a great fashion statement which is why I think it’s such a great idea.  I have seen some tacky designs this winter, so I was really pleased with the selection on AnimalHeadGear.com’s website!

I received a Wolf Hat and it is just too cute.  It’s perfect for me and my wild and feisty personality.  It goes with a ton of outfits and is the perfect accessory to my wardrobe.  It’s very comfortable to wear and didn’t make my head itchy or mess up my hair.  It actually kept my arms warm as the sun went down, which was nice. 

It’s funny because the longer I wore this, the more outgoing I became while being photographed.  It actually helped my personality come out more.  This is definitely something I would wear at a camp fire, or  backyard barbecue!!!  I love my Wolf Hat!!!

Costume Super Center Review

If you are looking for a Halloween costume or even a just for fun costume, Costume Super Center is the place to go. They have a huge selection of costumes for women. There are several different categories for you to choose from, whether you are into horror, comedy, or action heroes, you will definitely be able to find something to suit your needs and your taste. They come at all different prices and I love the fact that you can sort by cheaper prices because sometimes you don’t need to spend very much on a costume you will only wear once. Regardless, these costumes are very affordable and fairly priced, especially if you compare them to the ones you can purchase in stores.

I received a costume of Blair from Terminator 4 the movie. It was very easy to put on and it was so comfortable to wear. I could definitely wear this costume all night for a costume party. It is a very sexy costume but it is realistic at the same time. I personally don’t like wearing costumes where I’m in a bikini so this gave me enough coverage but still let enough skin show that I felt sexy in it. I love the cropped jacket and I love the boot tops. One less thing I need to worry about when buying accessories for this costume.

My Advice: Have fun once in a while and dress up with a costume from Costume Super Center.

Designers Come Together for the Ebay Fashion Vault

So while I was on ebay the other day I popped over to the Fashion Vault and I saw all of these bags with the phrase "You can't fake fashion" on them. Upon closer review, I noticed each tote had a different design, based on the designer that made it. 

For instance, David Yurman specializes in jewelry, so their bag had a cool chain on it!

I think it is so awesome to see all the different designers come together and add their own little edge to each tote.  Now, for $200, it can really be worth it if you are into the designer.  There are so many different ones, such as Betsey Johnson and even Tommy Hilfiger. There were also some I haven't heard of but they had beautiful bags. 

My favorite was this one:

Carlos Falchi mixes a bit of urban design into their tote. I totally wish I could get it but I have some other things I'm saving up my money for.

My Little Man is Going to The Vets

My sweet little man goes to the vet this Friday for a check up and a consult so I can get him neutered. So let this be a reminder to everyone that it's very important to get your pet's spayed and neutered. Let breeding to the breeders and promote adoption from a shelter whenever you can.  Don't try to become a breeder.

And if you let your pet outside be sure they are kept contained in your yard, and make sure they always have a collar on with some sort of ID.

Rocky is doing great, he is so well behaved! He is great with going to the bathroom, eating on schedule, and listening to me when I give commands.

And....I caught each of my girls playing with him recently. They all love him and have accepted him into our family!

Hot Trend for Spring: Pink Denim

So on the way to work this morning, I passed a high school bus stop and saw a girl with a black shirt and pink jeans on.  It looked awesome!! 

The best part about wearing pink jeans is that the only other thing you need to do it is a black shirt and black pumps (or flats), or white shirt and brown (if you have light pink denim) or black shoes (if you have dark pink denim.)  Your jeans make the entire outfit pop.

It's just such an easy outfit to wear and it looks so awesome. I was really impressed with that girl's bold fashion statement, especially in high school, where people can be brutal.

Now...I just have to find pink jeans...

Pet 'n Shape Review

It's important to always be aware of what ingredients are in your pet's food.  I know that when it comes to my dogs, they get ONLY the best and most high quality brands out there.  So treats are just as important.   At Pet 'n Shape, they realize that and they use nautral ingredients to make healthy treats. No additives or preservatives, high protein, and low in cholesterol and fat.

I received 2 packages of treats from Pet 'n Shape.  Peanut Butter and Chicken Liver.  Wow, did my chihuahuas LOVE these flavors.  I loved them myself because they didn't make a crumbly mess and they were the perfect bite size for my dogs!  My dogs loved these treats and it was also perfect for Rocky, who can sometimes be a very picky eater.  But when I toss a few treats in his bowl he will definitely start eating so this was a huge help.

My Advice: Feed your pets with healthy foods, just like you would yourself!

Stephanie Johnson Review

Stephanie Johnson is very well known for it's high quality cosmetic bags, cosmetic cases, and toiletry bags.  It wasn't until I got to see their products in person for myself that I truly fell in love. There are so many different styles and shapes and designs to choose from but somehow, their website keeps it all very organized and easy to explore. These bags are what I would truly describe as luxurious.  They look classy, feel comfortable, and are very very practical.

 I received 3 different bags from Stephanie Johnson.  I am so obsessed with all of them!
The Lulu Tote in Turquoise is a great carry-all that fits all of my stuff.  I was able to load it up with my wallet, makeup, brush, mini straightener, magazines, water bottle, and cell phone.  It fits very comfortably over my shoulder and it was very easy to find my items inside of it.  The snap closure is great to ensure that nothing will spill out if it happens to tip on its side.  The metallic gold straps give this a fun and unique look and the two interior pockets help keep it practical.  This is such a luxurious tote!  The design of it makes me feel like I'm on vacation!

The Jenny Train Case in Turks and Caicos is so beachy and tropical.  I feel like I'm on an island vacation with this one. I have chosen to use this bag as my toiletries bag when I travel.  Perfect for travel size shampoos, conditioners, serums, and other bath products, it's roomy but lightweight.  It has a beautiful tassel zipper pull and the navy liner is so majestic looking.  It even has a detachable mirror and a separate clear pouch.  I love the handle, it makes it so easy to carry. 

The ML Traveler in Lima Purple is my absolutely favorite Stephanie Johnson bag that I am still raving about!  First of all, this is great for travel, but it's also great for everyday use.  Sometimes I do my makeup in the bathroom, sometimes in the bedroom, it just depends on how I feel.  I hate having to run back and forth to get something so it's nice to have it all in one compact bag.  But don't be fooled, though small, this bag fits A LOT of stuff, and it fits very comfortably, not all cramped like some makeup bags.  I loved the clear pouch which I used for my flat items.  I used the removable zip pouches for brushes and eyeliners. I loved how these are meshy because it makes the entire bag light weight.  There is also a removable clear pouch and it is perfect for my powders and foundations, which often get messy.  So when it gets messy, I can simply remove this pouch, rinse it out, and replace it without worrying about getting powder and liner all over the other contents in this bag.  I am so excited about this bag, I even rearranged how I stored my makeup in it not once, but twice!

My Advice: Instead of wasting money on cheap unreliable makeup cases and travel sets, invest in a really high quality brand such as Stephanie Johnson so you can have bags that last a lifetime and make you feel more luxurious while using them!

Wedding Season is almost here and everyone wants to cut costs.  Well,  one way is with wedding invitations.  I found some cheap wedding invitation ideas that could really help save you money. It's the changing of the seasons, and that means it's time to switch up your shoes. My Productive Weekend...

This weekend I got so much done. I did all of my groceries on Friday and I also cleaned my entire house all before 8pm. I mean literally, there is no clutter ANYWHERE.  Everything has a place, everything is perfectly in order. YAY!  Saturday I went to this doggy event with Pixie.  it was called Pawsabilities.  Since I have 4  chi's I was so torn on who to bring but since Pixie is the original and my first, I decided to bring her. She had a blast . I visited a lot of vendors and I picked up some doggy baked goods!

 Then at night, my girlfriend and I decided to go get some drinks.  I left my hair wavy, which is my new thing because it's so fast and easy and I barely have to use any heat on my hair.  It was a blast but I was exhausted by 11 so I came home early.

 I also made home made cheesecake. Super easy to make.  I love baking so this was awesome, even though I technically didn't even have to bake it, lol.

I don't know about you but for me, online shopping can be very overwhelming. What website do you start at, how do you know you have the best deal, and how do you know it's a great store? Well This is where Style Topic comes into play. 

Style Topic is a website for online shopping that features an up to date listing of fashion, clothes, sales, and the best shops.  They are always available if you have questions and they only work with reliable shops.  So rather then search all over th einternet, you can go to Style Topic and get a great selection of shops to choose from.

On the left side of their page there is a listing of categories such as Children's, Women's, Handbags, etc.  I clicked on Handbags and all kinds of stores showed up.  It showed me their rating and it had a brief description of each site. I hadn't even heard of some of them before but I was super interested in them and ended up finding some really beautiful handbags.  

I especially love the category for Online Deals where it lists the deals by date. It tells you the website they are for and what the deal is.  It also tells you when it expires. I found so many great deals and coupons, and I'm so glad I got a chance to check out Style Topic!  Definitely add it to your Favorites in your web browser!

Keeping Your Pooch Warm

My new pooch Rocky is a little guy and he gets cold very easily.  When I brought him home I had to keep him snuggled in blankets.... An important item to always have on hand for dogs is a blanket or two.  And there are some soft ones over at Bloomingtails!  Blankets are great for in a dog's cage or crate so they don't have to sit or stand on the cold bottom.  It's also great for on your furniture so that if he licks his paws it won't affect your fabric, and instead just the blanket.  Invest in some dog blankets today so you are always prepared!

Meet Rocky...My Newest Chihuahua Addition!

This weekend I was blessed with an addition to my Chihuahua Clan!  My mom called me on Saturday because she happened upon a little chihuahua running through her neighborhood.  She told me he was really nice but she didn't want to keep him inside until they find his owner because my mom and dad have another Chihuahua and they didn't know if he would mind. So ofcourse I said yes to taking him at my house. 

Instantly I fell in love, he was so sweet and so well behaved.  I began searching for his owners, but come Sunday morning still came up with nothing.

Through word of mouth in my parents' neigborhood the owners were discovered and my mom paid them a visit. It was an elderly couple from Kansas, staying with their son and daughter in law, and they have 4 dogs total.  It turns out they had been planning to rehome some of the dogs because it was beginning to be too much for them. My mom showed them a picture of me and my current pups and the man said "I believe in signs, and I believe this is a sign that he wandered into the arms of a Chihuahua lover!".   They told my mom I could keep him, they told me his name, Rocky, and they told me when they get back to Kansas they will send his papers, etc. to me. 

Rocky is fitting in just fine, he loves his house, siblings, and his life in general.  It's very obvious by how happy he is all the time.  As an 8 year old Chihuahua, he's very mature and calm, which I am thankful for.  I plan to write more about him and my other Chihuahuas as I go along!
