Why A Concert Should Be On Your Bucket List

Sunday, October 12, 2014

I participated in Influencer Activation on behalf of Millennial Central for Cricket Wireless.  I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.

I've been to quite a few concerts and music festivals in my lifetime.  There is something so unique and unforgettable about each one.  It's amazing to be surrounded by people that are enjoying the exact same music as you at the exact same moment. It's like everyone is on the same page for once!   I especially felt that way at the Coldplay concert I went to 3 years ago and the Dave Matthews Band Concerts I've attended over the years.  The Coldplay concert had amazing yellow balloons being bounced around from person to person during the song "Yellow" and there was amazing yellow lighting on the stage!
If you haven't been to a concert like this yet, I highly suggest you add it to your bucket list!!!

I still want to see Pitbull in concert.  His energy is so amazing in his music so I can only imagine how fun it would be to see him LIVE! All his songs make me want to get up and dance no matter who is looking at me.  Actually, you may get the chance to do the same thing if you go to one of his concerts? Did you know that he is teaming up with Enrique Iglesias for The Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias Fall 2014 Tour!?

That's right, Cricket Wireless has partnered with Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias to help their fans experience, create, and share something to smile about during their Fall 2014 Tour!  Let me tell you about some of the amazing things that will be there!

There is a 10x20 Cricket Stage at selected tour stops where some fans will actually be able to jump up on stage and give their most amazing "headliner" pose!  Then they can share their 360 images on their social channels through little "share kiosks" that will be located around the stage!   And photos will be entered into sweepstakes where one winner and 3 guests will get a trip to the Miami Latin Grammy Street Party.  All participants of "The Stage" activation will get Cricket Ear Buds! See that's a win-win either way!

There will also be a VIP Meet & Greet where participants can meet Pitbull or Enrique and take photos on a Cricket step & repeat.

Speaking of pictures, there's also a Selfie Station with mirrors in the ladies room that encourage fans to snap selfies and post to social media.

Have a question? Ask Enrique is another great opportunity where fans can win a trip to the Pitbull and Enrique tour stop in Atlanta, meet Enrique in person and ask him some of your most burning questions!

Like holograms? Well there will be Hologram Standee Billboards at high-traffic spots within the activation venues for you to check out.  They will be completely lifelike images of Enrique and Pitbull!

Seriously, Cricket is way more than a sponsor, they are making the fan experience so much more amazing!  Why are they doing all of this? because they want to give people something to smile about (#STSA).  They are connected consumers and music fans through the Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias tour!

  1. Surprisingly I have only been to one concert and that was to see Switchfoot when I was 13. My sister has never been to a concert but we got tickets to see Demi Lovato in Hershey, PA for next Friday! So excited :)
