I'm participating in my own little project called My Year Without. Each month, I go without something different.
January-texting and driving.
February -cursing.
March- spending.
April -candy.
May - Fast Food
June - Gossip
July - Indoor Tanning
August - Complaining
September - Making Excuses
October - Biting My Nails
It was easy to stop making excuses in September. I just owned up to any mistake I made. Once you make a point to start doing that, it's surprisingly easy. Plus the longer you get in the habit of NOT making an excuse the less you will do it in the future. For October I'm giving up my biting my nails. I do it as a bad habit and if I can't chew my nails, I'll often chew the skin around them. NO MORE!
What can you live without this month?

I do the same thing to my nails! I've been trying so hard to do better, especially as I've noticed my daughter sticking her fingers in her mouth a lot lately. So afraid I'm going to pass on the curse if I'm not careful!
ReplyDeleteI have heard if you paint your nail. That might help with not biting your nails.
