It's a new month and a new 30-Day Challenge from Chewy. I'm a long time user and fan of Chewy. I get all of my pet supplies and food from them! So when I was asked to take on a challenge by trying out Tylee's Human-Grade Dog Food I had to say yes!

This first post will be about my initial thoughts and a brief introduction to the food. In 2 more weeks I'll let you know how my pups are doing on it, and at the end of the month I'll wrap it all up with my final thoughts.
So Tylee's is a NEW Chewy exclusive Human-Grade Dog Food. It's actually made of human-grade ingredients just like what you get for yourself at the grocery store. You can actually see the real food. And all you have to do to prepare it is to defrost it and then serve it.
For a long time I've thought about preparing home cooked food for my dogs but I just don't have the time or energy so this is essentially the perfect solution. The receipes are grain-free and each has only one source of protein. That means it's great for dogs with a sensitive tummy or dogs with allergies. And you can either serve this as their actual meal, or just use it as a topper for their regular food.
The first thing I loved about this food was the packaging. Not only is the bag beautiful but it's surprisingly light weight and it was easy to fit in my freezer (or fridge if you think you'll use it that fast!). I love that there is a resealable top on this bag.
There were instructions included that explain how to transition from your dog's current food to this new food. Those instructions are super helpful because if you don't do it properly you can have a dog with some real loose stools and that is definitely not fun for them or for you!
So my pups will be enjoying the Chicken Recipe which contains real USDA-grade chicken plus fruits and veggies like apples, spinach, and carrots. Thesea re full of fiber, nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. These are an important part of any diet. There are even ingredients like sunflower oil and flaxseed oil that contain omega-3 and 6 that promote a healthy, shiny coat. There's no by-product meals, or fillers like corn, wheat, and soy.
And of course there are no artificial flavors, coloring, and ingredients sourced from China. It's made int he USA and you can only get it through Chewy.com!
When I first saw the food frozen I was impressed. It's literally frozen!!! It's great though because it's in small enough pieces that my dogs will be able to handle it. I have to be careful since my dogs are so small that they don't choke on pieces of their food.
I'm sure they are going to enjoy this food. Check back in a couple of weeks when I let you know the progress and any changes I've seen so far.
