So the thing with polka dots is that I think they make me look immature and childlike.  Especially when there are a lot of them really close together.   Maybe I'm just being too hard on myself.

But luckily, I found this pair of leggings and the polka dots are a decent size and they are spaced far apart so I think it actually looks just right on me.   Even if you're hesitant to try something because you don't think it'll look good on you - try it anyways! Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.

Rocky's Personal Favorite: Nature's Recipe Dog Food - Now Available at Walmart!

You know I love to talk about pets, especially since I have 4 Chihuahuas of my own.  Well, today Rocky is the star of the show because I'm going to tell you about his favorite dog food ever! Ever since Rocky has become a more mature (older) dog, he prefers soft food.  It's just easier for his tiny little teeth to handle.   Of course, it can't just be any wet food.  I've spent months trying to find one that he would like.  He gets so finicky and the vet was concerned that he wasn't gaining enough weight because he just wasn't interested in food.

Well, that's no longer a problem because he LOVES his current food, Nature's Recipe Grain Free Chicken Recipe!  The best part is that I can now get it when I'm at Walmart picking up my own groceries and things I need.   It's much more convenient for me now that I don't have to order it online and wait for it to ship out or have to run the whole way to a pet store to get it.  I am at Walmart at least once a week so this makes it even easier for me to stock up on his food. 

The reason I am such a fan of Nature's Recipe Dog Food is because it's a great price AND a wholesome meal option.  The #1 ingredient in dry recipes is real chicken!   It's very easy to eat and easy on Rocky's system because it's grain-free and comes in a smooth broth.  It's also made with real animal protein but NO poultry by-product meals.  And of course there are vitamins.    I am very strict with what I let Rocky eat and I never want him to have any artificial flavors or preservatives.  Nature's Recipe also does not contain any corn or wheat.  I'm so glad this food doesn't contain any of that stuff.  I'm sure Rocky loves eating so much more now that he actually has tasty and nutritious food to eat.  His body seems to crave it and he no longer stares at his bowl while his siblings eat their food.  He's even more energetic than ever, probably because he's eating healthier and that makes him happier.

It's so important to be mindful of what we put in not only our own bodies but the bodies of our pets.  Food can have them same effect on them as it does for us, so as a pet parent, I urge you to try Nature's Recipe as a wholesome meal option for your dog.  There are so many different recipes you can try like dry or wet food, lamb, salmon, chicken, or venison.  So even if you have a picky eater like I do, there's a good chance you'll still be able to find something they will eat. 




Rocky looks forward to meal time so much now and I honestly look forward to re-stocking his food because it's so easy for me to grab it while I'm already running errands at Walmart.

Outfit of the Day: NOT Matching Colors

So today I want to remind everyone, especially those that buy LuLaRoe that your outfits do NOT have to match perfectly.  I see so many people obsess over finding a top that matches the color in their leggings.  This Carly dress is knotted and worn as a tunic. It's purple.  There is NO purple in the leggings I'm wearing.  However it looks great together. 

You guys limit yourself SO MUCH when you only choose to wear matching colors.

So sometimes all it takes is just looking at both items next to each other.  Do they look fine? Probably! So wear them!

Happy Easter (An Excuse to Show Off My New Dress!)

 I just wanted to take a moment to show off my favorite dress AND say Happy Easter to everyone!

Outfit of the Day: The Plainest of Janes
