Ahnu Shoes Review

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Fashion can be tricky, because while something looks good, it may not be great for your health.  This is especially true when it comes to shoes.  If you don’t have good arch support, you can really pay the price in a few years.  I learned the hard way by wearing flip flops for years and then had really bad problems with Plantar Fasciitis.  Now that I’ve healed, I’ll never make that mistake again.

Ahnu Shoes offers a line of footwear that you can be active in because they provide traction, grip, flexibility, cushioning, and durability while you are on the go, whether it be on the beach or on a sidewalk.  Ahnu uses Numentum Technology which is a neutral positioning system that encourages your foot’s natural biomechanics.  It keeps your foot centered and stable and correctly balances your stride.  Also, they use certified post-consumer recycled fibers in their catalogs and packaging.

I received the Ahnu Olemas.  These are so incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in no matter what the situation is.  I wore them on my afternoon walk and my feet weren’t tired or sore at all.  They give great arch support which is something I need because of my plantar fasciitis issues in the past.

These shoes are fantastic because they go with pretty much anything I wear and they can look casual but still look great when I’m at some sort of event or get together.  I couldn’t believe how easy it was to wear these.  I have so many issues finding good shoes and it’s so important to find sandals with arch support because if they are too high they can damage your feet and even too flat can damage your feet.

I received no monetary compensation for this review. I received a product sample for the purpose of my review. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.
