Ask anyone that knows anything about being healthier and living a better life and they will tell you how crucial it is to get a good night's sleep.   Problem is, most of us don't even know if we get the right amount of sleep, or how solid of sleep we get on a regular basis.  That's where Beddit comes into play.

Without having to hook yourself up to anything or wear a fitness/sleep tracker, Beddit can help monitor your sleep quality and duration as well as resting heart rate, breathing, and snoring.  The Beddit sensor gets placed on your bed, under the bed sheet and you sleep on it.   In the morning, the Beddit app will turn your data from the night before into actionable ideas and personalized coaching tips for how to improve your sleep and wellness.

It works by using a sensitive force sensor to track small vibrations caused by our heartbeats, breathing, and movements.  See, when we fall asleep our resting heart rate and respiratory rate fall and we lay still.  Algorithms in Beddit know that to be sleep AND they can recognize night time waking events and absences from bed (late night bathroom trips) which really affect sleep quality.

When you slip into a deeper sleep stage, your vital functions become more stabilized and Beddit picks up on that and begins to form your Sleep Cycles Curve.  And yes, it can detect snoring by using both the force sensor and the microphone of the mobile device.  It can recognize your own snoring from your partner's snoring!

I learned so much from using Beddit! I can now see how disruptive my bathroom trips were and I know to not drink a ton of water before bed, because it ended up going right through me!   I also can see that I'm a sound sleeper which is why I feel so well rested in the morning.    I seriously recommend Beddit for everyone so you can get a better idea of how you sleep!
