The Many Benefits of CBD from Diamond CBD

Friday, November 9, 2018

If you haven't heard of CBD yet, you may be living under a rock because it seems everyone is talking about it and the many benefits.  Celebrities, athletes, and everyday people are turning to CBD and are proud to talk about it.  As a blogger, I enjoy educating others about things I strongly support and understand.  For years, I've embraced CBD and informed others around me about the many benefits of it.

CBD products are popping up everywhere in a variety of forms and as a solution to a wide variety of ailments. Today, I'm going to explain to you what CBD is and I'll talk about the many benefits of using it.

CBD is short for Cannabidiol which is a cannabis compound with many medical benefits but without the psychoactivity of THC.  Because there's no psychoactive effects, people are using it for relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety, seizures, and more and aren't dealing with a lethargic feeling afterwards. Most CBD used medicinally comes from the Hemp plant.  You can learn more about what CBD is over at the CBD education center that Diamond CBD has set up to keep you up to date with the latest information about CBD.  Diamond CBD has been featured on this blog before and I highly recommend checking out their website and considering their CBD products.

People are using CBD to treat a wide variety of physical and mental disorders and CBD has even been shown to have anti-cancer properties that are being studied right now!

The human body already produces it's own cannabinoids so CBD works by directing the body to use more of it's own cannabinoids.

For people with chronic pain and stiffness there has been great relief found by using CBD.  It's has great anti-inflammatory properties as well which helps people that are athletic or have a condition where they have swelling inside their joints.

For people trying to quit smoking or experiencing drug withdrawals, CBD has been used to treat some of the symptoms of people's addictions like mood-related symptoms, pain, and insomnia.  Also people that suffer from Epilepsy have been using CBD to reduce seizures.
There are many forms of CBD but one of the most popular is CBD Oil. There are also several ways to take CBD oil.  Some people prefer to ingest it orally and when taken that way, it passes through the digestive system and gets metabolized by the liver.  It's then sent to your bloodstream.  Sound familiar? That's because that's how most vitamins and supplements are taken.  Some people prefer their CBD oil in the form of edibles, beverages, and capsules.

Another way to take CBD Oil is by placing it under the tongue for about 90 seconds so it gets absorbed into the mouth.  The absorption process bypasses the digestive system and liver and it allows the compounds to enter your bloodstream much .

Yet another way to take CBD Oil is applying it directly onto the skin so it can interact with the cells that are near the surface without ever going into the bloodstream.  I use a rub for my sore muscles after an intense workout and I know some people that apply it topically for their skin issues.  There are also CBD Oil bath and body products for your hair and skin! How exciting is that?

And finally, you can inhale CBD Oil by vaporizing it. During vaporization the CBD enters your lungs and diffuses directly into your bloodstream.  It doesn't have to go through the liver or digestive system so it's effects are quicker.  Less CBD gets lost during vaporization.  CBD Oil products for vaporization are generally found in the form of e-liquids and inhaled with a vape pen.

Did you know they even have CBD products for pets?  My one Chihuahua Grace suffers from compressed discs in her neck and when it flares up, she finds great relief from CBD Oil.

I personally have never had a negative side effect from using CBD and I don't know anyone else that has either.  There's really nothing to lose when using CBD Oil.  I mean, the worst that could happen is that you get no relief so you move on and go a different route.  That's not really so bad now is it?   Plus, you don't hear about CBD having bad interactions with other things now do you?  I'm telling you, CBD is a great way to seek relief from a HUGE variety of physical and mental ailments.

One of the only problems with CBD these days is that people just don't understand it and they are totally misinformed about it so they hesitate to use it.  That's why brands like Diamond CBD and people like myself are working hard to educate everyone out there about how to use CBD Oil and the many benefits of CBD in general.  CBD is not the same as THC so we work really hard to get rid of the stigma around CBD and to share the benefits of it's use with others.  I have friends of all different types that love using CBD whether it's for anxiety, pain, or just to relax and take care of their body.

Also, you need to check out the I am CBD, I am THC campaign! This video has been launched nationwide by Diamond CBD in an effort to educated the public about CBD.  It's a humorous series that explores both the facts and the myths of CBD and THC.  As mentioned earlier in this post, the CBD Education Center launched by Diamond CBD is a great database for factual and up-to-date information about CBD.

Oh and make SURE you enter the Cruise Giveaway from Diamond CBD!! Yes, you read that correctly - you can win a cruise! For 3-4 nights you and a guest will enjoy a luxury world-class cruise shi0p and a beautiful view.  What are you waiting for? GO ENTER!
