My Favorite Fall Picnic Snacks + A Giveaway

Fall is a great time of year to go out for picnics.  The air is cool, the bugs aren't usually as bad, and the scenery is beautiful.  But of course, there's always the question of what you should pack.  I always try to stay health conscious but I want to enjoy myself.  So when I went to a picnic at a local Vineyard two weeks ago I made sure to pack some delicious and healthy snacks from Crunchmaster.

Honestly, I am obsessed with Crunchmaster snacks now.  They are committed to fusing the tradition of the east (handcrafting, aging, baking on open grills, and perfecting rice crackers) with the taste sensations of the West.   Together you get a delicious snack that's better for you!  Crunchmaster snacks are full of wholesome ingreidents.  They are baked with a special technique and their crackers are thin and flat.  The Multi-Grain crisps were delicious with cheese slices but on their own, the Cheezy Crisps were AMAZING!

I also loved the Popped Edamame chips and the Multi-Seed Crackers and Multi-Grain Crackers were delicious under bologna.
Keep in mind, there are no artificial flavors or preservatives in Crunchmaster products and they are made from simple ingredients like rice, sesame, quinoa, amaranth, and flax seeds.

For dessert, the Cinnamon & Sugar Grammy Crisps were the perfect snack!

Check out Crunchmaster's Online Store and check out this coupon!

And one of you will get a Sampler Pack of 6 products to enjoy on a picnic or just in the comfort of your own home!

Fitness Progress// Improving My Time + Healthy Snacks

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

So I've been running almost daily for the past few weeks and I'm very proud to say that there has been some major progress.

I am really paying attention to what I wear and investing in quality running apparel and shoes so that I can kick some serious ass in my first ever 5K at the end of August.

I ran 2.51 miles in just 26 minutes and 7 seconds!
Yay go me! I make sure to pace myself and whenever I feel my lungs starting to really get winded, I walk for 2 houses (on my street) then continue to run again.  It's really helped me step up my time.

As for meal planning I've been doing great except I'm growing sick of chicken as my protein source for dinner so as of this week I'll be switching to fish! I'll have more on that next week.

And fresh fruit is an amazing snack let me tell you!!

Next thing to work on... Late night snacking.

Any tips?
