One of my favorite things to do when I choose outfits is to match colors.   I chose purple leggings with my Irma top from LuLaRoe because the outline of the stripes on the shirt is the exact same shade of purple. 

Also, it's important if you want to really expand your wardrobe that you choose solid tops and solid bottoms.   Solid bottoms always go well with printed tops and solid tops always go with printed bottoms.

Outfit of the Day - Simply Pink

It was literally crappy weather for like 2 weeks straight.  I wanted to brighten up my own world so I wore these adorable heathered light pink leggings with a simple grey Irma tunic.  This is a medium. I can wear a medium or a large depending on how loose fitting I want it.

I love how simple this outfit is!

Living Room Updates

I love before and after pictures of updates around the house so today I wanted to share with you my small updates to our living room.   Before we had a coffee table that was given to us by a friend and then we had a huge area rug. 

So I went out to Ross the one day and found the adorable rug above for just $50!   It's much smaller in size but it actually is even prettier and more functional than us having a big rug.   And then I went to Target and found the most adorable storage ottoman to use as a coffee table.  Our other coffee table will be used in the basement living area.  

I think the darker color of the rug and the darker and smaller sized ottoman makes the room look bigger and more put together!

Outfit of the Day - Peachy on Date Night

So the other weekend we went out for our monthly date night. The weather was horrid.  So I brightened up our evening with a nice peachy heathered Perfect T from LuLaRoe with some super tall black boots.

Their Perfect T is my favorite. It's so flowy and soft!

Chewy 30 Day Challenge - First Thoughts

Last year I did a few 30 Day Challenges with Chewy and I'm excited to be participating in another one this month.   For 30 days I'll be trying out Rachael Ray Peak dog food and posting about my experience. 


So some basic information on this brand - well it comes in two flavors -Northern Woodlands Recipe with Turkey, Duck, and Quail, and Open Range Recipe with Beef, Venison, and Lamb.  For my pups we are going with the Open Range Recipe because I know they love their red meat!


One of the first things I noticed is that these recipes have NO by-product meal, artificial flavors or colors, no artificial preservatives, no grains, no glutens, and no fillers.  That's what I look for in a food so right off the bat I was impressed.  The first ingredient is US farm-raised beef. 

This is full of a high quality protein which gives dogs the right nutrients to support healthy organs and lean muscle mass.  That combined with nutrient-dense venison and lamb means a delicious but nutritious combo! High protein foods give my pups the energy they need so I am excited to see how they do with this.

There are some other great ingredients like Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to support healthy skin and coat!

When I opened the bag I was so glad that the smell wasn't that typical overpowering dog food smell. It actually smelled like it could be human food.  That says a lot about this food to me.  I love the kibble texture and size and the dogs are obviously excited about it because they couldn't stop spinning in circles.

Outfit of the Day - Relaxed and Casual with Chihuahuas

This is one of my favorite outfits because I get to wear my chihuahua LuLaRoe leggings!   The top is an XL Randy and I love it because it covers everything and is so so comfy. 


I love relaxed fit and slouchy clothing so I'm in heaven!
