If you want to invite some friends over but you aren't sure you know how to be a good guest, here are a few tips that should help you.

1. Keep Food Options Simple
Burgers and Hotdogs! Can't go wrong there.   If you focus on making the main items on the grill, you can ask your guests to bring sides like pasta salad, chips, salsa, etc.   Don't go all out and cook some crazy gourmet meal.   Keep it light and fun.

2. Have Several Drink Options
Not only should you supply water and soda, but try liquor, beer, AND wine.  Not everyone has the same drinking preference.

3. Make Sure There's Seating
Nothing is worse than going to someone's house and not having anywhere to sit.  Encourage guests to bring their own lawn chairs if you know you will run out.  Also, make sure there are plenty of little tables for people to sit their food and drink.

4.  Plan for the Weather
If you know it's a hot day, make sure your guests can come inside or under some sort of shade.   An evening or late afternoon cookout in the heat of Summer is much more enjoyable than a 12- noon burn session in the sun.

5. MUSIC!
I always tell people the key to a good Summer Cookout is music.  And no, you don't have to go all crazy and get a sound system.  Save money, time, and energy by using a mini speaker from Genius Pack!  Keep the atmosphere upbeat and encourage people to dance or sing along!  The Mini Speaker is great because it has playback time of up to 6 hours and it's portable so you can set it wherever you want in your yard.  Just keep it plugged into your phone or wherever you store your music!

One lucky winner is going to get a Loud Sound Mini Speaker from Genius Pack!
