Easy Ways To Look Younger

Thursday, November 1, 2018

Reversing the effects of aging is possible and it needn’t require rigorous diets or lengthy skincare routines. Here are just a few easy ways to look younger.

Get your beauty sleep
A good night’s sleep can take years off your appearance. It’s when we’re asleep that our body does most of its healing. This can make our skin look rosier and more youthful. Puffy eyes is often associated with lack of sleep, but research suggests it could actually be the way in which you sleep – sleeping on your front causes liquid in the eyes to pool up underneath, whilst lying on your back prevents this. In other words, if you want to reduce those aging eye bags, sleep on your back.

Drink more water
Staying hydrated could also make you look younger. When we’re dehydrated, our body is stiffer and out skin is tighter. Blood also doesn’t flow as freely, causing a paler appearance. By drinking 8 cups of water a day, you could make yourself look more youthful.

Boost collagen with Retin-A
When it comes to skin products that really do make a difference to your physical appearance, you’re best opting for retin-A. This drug can boost the production of collagen helping to fight wrinkles. In fact, it’s so effective that it can reverse wrinkling when used regularly. Retin-A is most commonly applied as a topical cream. There are side effects, which are worth looking into.

Consider cosmetic surgery
Cosmetic surgery may be drastic, but it does achieve results. If you want to iron out your facial wrinkles once and for all, a face lift procedure could be just what’s needed to provide instant results. Cosmetic surgery is often expensive and some people may find it too invasive. Even if you don’t want to go under the knife, there are procedures such as laser treatment and Botox injections to consider.

Modernise your wardrobe
A change of wardrobe could also help you to look younger. Try getting in on some of the newest fads. Obviously, you don’t want to wear something overly young and look like you’re trying too hard – you’ll know in yourself what you can pull off. Brighter colours and softer fabrics will often help to give your skin a more youthful look. Rough textures and pales colours can emphasise wrinkles and pallid skin tones and are best avoided when trying to look younger.

Get a radical new haircut
If you’ve got long hair, going short could take years off. Similarly, adding extensions to shorter hair could make you younger too. This is because a change of hairstyle can have such a drastic effect on your appearance that re-energises your whole look. By continuously changing your hairstyle, you can stay looking fresh and youthful.
