I recently cleaned out and organized under the one bathroom sink in our house... and WOW was it ever a project. It was fun though and it was a lot of work but I really liked the challenge!
This is what I was working with before:
I started out by putting like items together: Foot care, feminine products, cleaning, travel products, perfumes, cosmetics, and first aid.
I used bins and baskets to separate everything. The things that aren't used as often are towards the back and the baskets are in the front so they can be easily moved out of the way quick to grab something from the back.
On the wall's medicine cabinet, I put ointments, creams, and first aid bottled products in the top part and I put the most frequently used items in the open space: Makeup remover, facial cleansers, nail polishes in a removable top handled basket, and glasses cleaners & wipes in a little square bin.
Moving on to the drawers, razors went in one bin, toothpastes, everyday ointments, and toothbrushes went in the front space, cosmetics in a bin in the back, and in another drawer I organized brushes, shaving supplies, ointments, and long handled tools.
Organizing chaotic areas like this is easy if you just remember to keep like items together and use compartments to separate everything!
