So every year I do this thing where anytime something good or exciting happens, no matter how big or how small, I write it on a piece of paper, fold it up, and put it in my Good Things Jar.
Then on New Year’s Eve, I sit down and go through each piece of paper. It reminds me of how good the year was, since we tend to always say “this was a rough year.”
Here are some of the highlights from my 2019.
I turned 33!
I took many nature walks.
Took yoga nidra for the first time.
Got a new car!!
Took my niece to Indian Echo Caverns!
Connected with an author I adore.
Rocky had some vet scares but was okay.
Made an Amazon wishlist for the residents at the nursing home and received everything from the list!
Enjoyed the first day of real fall weather.
Attended one of my resident’s Veteran’s day ceremony.
Attended a fire circle.
Joined a sacred sisterhood circle.
Got a raise.
Got singing bowls and a buffalo drum.
Got a couples massage.
Started volunteering at the library.
What did your year include?
Sounds like you had a great year. 2019 was a rough year for me. My husband was gone on a business trip for 6 month and my mother passed away in August.
