Journaling is an enriching thing to do no matter how many minutes a day you spend doing it. But to help you out, I wanted to share some of my favorite journal prompts that I use in my own journal. Enjoy!
1. If you could do anything in life without fear of failure what would it be?
2. Reflect on a time when you accomplished something that you had major doubts about.
3. What's your favorite color and how does it make you feel?
4. If you won the lottery, how would you use the money?
5. What animal resonates with you the most?
6. What's your favorite childhood memory?
7. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
8. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
9. Where do you see yourself in 25 years?
10. How do you handle difficult people on a day to day basis?
11. What's your ideal night time ritual?
12. If you could go on a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?
13. What was your biggest fear as a child? Is it still your biggest fear today? Why or why not?
14. Reflect on a moment someone helped you in a huge way during a difficult time.
15. What is your favorite book and why?
16. What is your favorite movie and why?
17. If you could have dinner and drinks with any person living or dead, who would it be and why? What would you talk about with them?
18. How do thunderstorms make you feel?
19. How do you handle criticism?
20. What's the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
21. Which older relative are you most like and how?
22. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and how did you envision life as an adult?
23. What song makes you want to get up and dance no matter where you are?
