Organizing is my thing so of course I figured I should share some of the tools I use to stay organized in all aspects of my everyday life.
Notes App
I practically live by the Notes app on my iPhone. I have my daily/weekly/monthly task list, reference notes, spending trackers and everything through there. I have a note for everything in my life, I swear. I used to like to use paper but honestly, having it in my Notes app where I can always access it from anywhere (and even from my other devices) has been a game changer for me.
Filofax Planner
Instead of a wallet, I use a personal sized Filofax for my planner in my purse, my wallet, and little paper notes and reference material. The point of the calendar in my Filofax is that it’s always with me even if I can’t look at my calendar on my fridge. Anything I add to my Filofax when I’m out and about gets transferred over to my fridge calendar once I’m home.
Empty Small Boxes
I love empty boxes and lids when it comes to organizing drawers. Yes, I buy them sometimes online but whenever I find a good box I save it and it’s always come in handy and saved me money in the long run. When you get new stuff for Christmas consider keeping the boxes!
Digital Back Ups
I have a back up cloud software on my laptop that is always saving everything I do so if something ever happens on my computer I can get the documents back. This is also how I organize all of my digital photos. I download my Facebook albums at the end of every year and then place them on my hard drive, organized by year and month or event.
I honestly don’t have a ton organizing tools I use because I have simplified what I need to organize and the systems in place work for me. The Notes App is by far the thing I use most often to keep myself organized! What are your favorite organizing tools?
