Crab Cruise on The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat RECAP

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

I had an absolute blast over the weekend at the Crab Cruise on The Pride of the Susquehanna on Sunday. The cruise ran from 6-8pm and included all you can eat crabs from Harbor House Crabs.

We arrived promptly and the Captain already greeted us with his usual jokes and warm wishes for a great experience. We boarded at 5:45pm and found our own table to sit at. The tables already had crackers and other crab tools on them, as well as a giant paper covering to make it easier to clean up.

We were so excited to dig in! Everyone formed a line and we were served 3 crabs at a time. They were delicious!!! The weather was perfect and the windows on the cabin of the boat were open which let a perfectly relaxing breeze in. It was such a great time and a perfect idea for a date night.

We finished eating around 7:30 and then stood outside on the deck and enjoyed the sunset and the river scenery for another 30 minutes before we got back to shore. I couldn't believe how great of an experience it was, especially because the scenery and setting were much better than a boring restaurant. I highly recommend this cruise... you MUST try it at least once!

  1. What about the drink in the photo? After some research, I see they have a cash bar. Were the drinks expensive? We're they worth the cost? Average?
