Summer is always my favorite time of year because I get so much reading done. And of course some of my favorite books are from a large variety of genres.

WOW this was a thrilling book about a scandalous affair with best friends and within a once close knit family. There are many secrets that all relate to each other. Liam's mom had a baby to someone and says she doesn't know who it was, but his mom's best friend from the past does.... and she's about to cause hell!
Looker by Laura Sims
This is a very unique novel about a girl that is obsessed with her beautiful actress neighbor. While her own life is in shambles after an affair with a student and a pending divorce, she literally stalks this woman and obsesses over her everyday. There are some dark turns in this one but it's so damn good!
Before She Knew Him by Peter Swanson
A great thriller by one of my favorite authors. This book involves some mentally disturbed individuals that are both involved in and trying to figure out who a town killer is. There were parts of this book that had me shook!
Miracle Creek by Angie Kim
WOW! This book was a great courtroom drama that unfolded so beautifully even though it was based around a horrific tragedy. I really liked how each character had their own chapters. After an explosion at a treatment center, the town is trying to determine who REALLY was responsible. The outcome will shock you to the core.
Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane
This is a family drama that spans for decades after a violent domestic issue happened between two families. Everyone goes their separate ways but just like any juicy storyline, some of the people begin to reconnect, causing tension among them. This was actually a really heartwarming novel!
