The Perfect Fraud by Ellen Lacorte
This is a great thriller about two women, one is a mother that appears to have a very sick child but even the doctors are skeptical about the truth behind the young girl. There’s also a psychic who comes into contact with Rena and her child and just KNOWS something is off. As the story unfolds a chase ensues as the truth comes out. Great book with a great plot!

You Can Do All Things by Kate Allan
This is a precious book full of little activities, inspiring mantras, and overall uplifting pages for when you’re struggling in life. Just paging through it for five minutes a day has made me feel much better when life is stressful and scary. This book would be a great gift for pretty much anyone!

Badass Affirmations by Becca Andersen
The title says everything you need to know. Wow! Filled with quotes from well known women, this is an inspiring and encouraging reminder to women of how badass we are and how we need to embrace affirmations on a daily basis.

The Woman’s Book of Prayer by Becca Anderson
First let me start by saying that this is a very touching and inspirational book for any woman in any part of life. There are lovely poems, sweet blessings, and inspirational meditations that can be used in everyday life. It doesn’t matter if you pray or not or whom you pray to, this book really is for everyone!

The Buddha’s Guide to Gratitude by Becca Anderson
I always adore Becca Anderson’s work so I was really in love with this book from the start. It goes over how to adapt a more mindful lifestyle into your everyday practices by using tools like journaling, thinking things through, hands on activities, and mindful meditations. I love how this book actually explains how we can be more grateful and thankful even in the face of adversity. I have been using a lot of the tips I took from this book and I already feel like I’m in a much better mood as soon as I wake up each day. An easy read that will surely serve you well and you can read it again in times of need.

Crystal Intentions by Lunne Innate and Araminta Star Matthews
Crystals and gems are all the rage these things and it’s for good reason. The practices many use to manifest things are often utilizing the energy from pieces of the Earth, like crystals. This book does a great job of explaining the basics of self-care and chakras. It explain a lot about the overall flow of energy in human beings and how when you’re tapping into your spiritual side, the energy of stones can help you. Not only that, but they look beautiful too! This is a great book for beginners or for anyone that just wants an easy to follow guide.

Gratitude with Attitude by Ronnie Walter
So most people say they have every good intention to journal but we all know it’s hard to keep up with that habit. The reason I love this book so much is because it actually explains how journaling for even just a few minutes each day can improve your life. The writing prompts are great and easy to follow and honestly, the five minute commitment is very realistic. In fact, I have now been journaling for over 2 months regularly and I find it’s an easy habit and I actually look forward to doing it each day. This book really helped me with my own self care and seeing the abundance that is my life.

Heart, Sass & Soul by Greta Solomon
Another great book that helps you get in touch and express yourself the same way you did as a kid. Being creative and embracing your inner child to express yourself and live your life to the fullest is the biggest takeaway that I got from it. And of course journaling and writing is great for that type of thing and I noticed after this book, I have been able to see the light in even the darkest of situations and I am sooooo in touch with my creative side. I am coping with stress and the blues by creating and expressing myself more. This is a fantastic read and when you’re done with it, gift it to a girlfriend!
So many great and inspirational reads this month! What have you read lately?
