Ah, summer...the best time to read lots of books. Check out what I read this month.

The Wives by Tarryn Fisher
Wow this book was intense.  A man has multiple wives and keeps them from each other.  The story is told from one of their points of views and as the story evolves it gets crazier and crazier until you  begin second guessing which of the characters you believe. Great read with great twists.

The Misfortunes of Family by Meg Little Reilly
This is a great read about family drama, politics, and the media. When his scandal is a nursed it shakes a family to its core and not just on a political level. I read this book in one sitting it was so good!

Pretty Things by Janelle Brown
This book was awesome.  I love books with schemes and heists and in this story, a woman and her boyfriend are out to scam a young influencer.  Things of course aren't what they seem and they don't go as planned for any of the three involved.  I love the twists and could not put this book down!

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
I really can't even describe this book. It's heartbreaking and real and something that you really can't explain to anyone until they experience reading it.  Anna's sister Kate needs a kidney donation to possibly survive Leukemia and Anna is that match.  In fact, Anna's parents conceived her to BE a donor.  Anna has always felt forgotten in her life, but no matter what she loves her sister.  And as she and her family go through court proceedings to emancipate her medically from her family, things take a big twist and the truth is revealed but of course so is tragedy.  You MUST read this book.
