Well, summer is winding to a close as sad as that makes me but it’s inevitable and it also means that I will need to do my seasonal chores. Here are the things I have on my list to complete.

It's the middle of summer (well maybe a little past that) but it's a good time to do a midsummer refresh around your home so you can enjoy the remaining month or two of summer. Here's a checklist based on what I do.

Spring is creeping in and that means it’s time to do some annual/seasonal cleaning tasks to ensure your home is tidy and clean for the next few months, especially since most of us spend time outdoors and neglect our indoor cleaning tasks. Here’s some of the tasks I do every Spring.

Everyone needs a good deep clean of their home. I usually plan a deep clean day once a season. So that's 4 times a year and the to do tasks don't really change. This is always fun because afterwards I feel so accomplished and my house truly sparkles. Here is what to do on a deep clean day in your own home.

Sometimes we go to town when cleaning our homes but we still miss the little details and it never occurs to us that we should include those nooks and crannies in our regular cleaning list. There are times when an unforeseen circumstance requires that you give the house a deep clean, of course, whether that’s to move home or for a suicide cleanup. I'll admit that while I enjoy cleaning my home, I still can't seem to remember to clean all of these things on a regular basis so instead I add them to my 1-2x a year task list, and some of them I now do more frequently because it's becoming a habit.

Cleaning is such a chore but it's very necessary to keep your home healthy and neat. We all tend to accrue quite a large amount of cleaning supplies and tools and we also tend to get overwhelmed with the task of cleaning itself. How are we supposed to fit this into our busy schedule every day? Well, simplifying your cleaning routine will make that much easier. And the good news is it can be done in 3 steps.

Whether it's a house, an apartment, or even just a single room, one thing we all have in common is that we have chores. For context, I call them household chores but it doesn't mean you have to have a house. Either way, these chores tend to be a burden. Some people are organized with them and have a routine for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual chores while others just handle them as they recognize it needs done. No matter how you handle household chores, everyone can benefit from reducing and simplifying the chores we have to do and today I'll talk about how to do that.

Spring cleaning is a big deal in my home but I also like to split up the tasks so they aren't so overwhelming. Today, I'm going to talk about giving your vanity a refresh. If you don't have an actual vanity, this can be your dresser, bathroom sink, or anywhere that you keep your makeup/hair items and where you get ready.

We spend most of our time outdoors in the Summer or on the go traveling. This is great, but when Fall comes around, we tend to notice we've neglected a lot of aspects of keeping the inside of our homes tidy and clean. Here's some ideas for how to clean the summer mess and aftermath from inside your home.

We often do a decluttering and deep cleaning of our homes from top to bottom but there's another thing we use pretty much every day that we forget about...your car! Think about it...you use your car a lot and it can get pretty messy. I try to clean mine out thoroughly every season and as long as I keep up on it, it's not too bad after you get the first time out of the way. So here's how to declutter and clean out your car.

Your bathroom is probably one of the most frequently used places in your home not just by you and your family but by guests when they come over. Since this is a high contact area, it is so important to give it a deep clean once in a while. Once a month, use the guide below to do a deep clean so you always have a sparkling and sanitized restroom no matter who is using it.

Housework can sometimes get away from us all. There are so many things going on in each of our lives like kids, jobs, errands, a social life, and home tasks. That's why it can feel overwhelming to create a routine for even just one of those aspects, like home tasks. A cleaning routine is a great way to take care of regular housework and chores so that they don't creep up on you and stress you out.

Spring is a great time to get motivated to do some Spring cleaning around the house but many people don't even know where to start. Every year it seems to change based on what your household does or what kind of furniture or features your home includes but either way there are a handful of things that should be done every year.
Spring cleaning always makes me feel refreshed and like I'm starting anew. No more slush and salt being tracked in after it snows, no more stuffy air because it's so cold out that you don't want to even open the doors, and more natural light coming in through the windows since you can keep the blinds open without fear of heat escaping through the glass.
So here is a list of some things to do when you spring clean your home this year and I even included a free printable checklist at the end of this post.
