Now that we have our own home, James and I really enjoy entertaining guests.  We spent all summer on the back porch enjoying burgers on the grill but now that it's cool out, that doesn't mean the entertaining has to stop.  Thanksgiving is right around the corner and that gives us an opportunity to welcome guests into our new home so they can share the cozy comfort we get everyday.   Of course there is plenty of preparation that goes into this and I don't just mean food prep.  I have always taken pride in having a neat and tidy house and I love decorating to impress my guests!   So if you are like me and you plan to have a Thanksgathering this year and want a house as festive and clean as mine - here's how!

|1| A Welcoming Front Yard
Since your guests will pull up and enter your home from the front, make sure they have a nice festive porch to greet them.  I used hay bales, pumpkins, and mums that I found at a local market to make a festive fall arrangement that can stay up from Halloween to Thanksgiving.  You can get creative with your arrangement or just keep it nice and simple.

|2| A Festive Centerpiece
When everyone gathers around the table to eat, it's important that they have something nice (besides the food) to look at.  I decided to make my own little centerpiece by using a basket and stuffing it with artificial  leaves and decorative pumpkins.

|3| A Clean Throne Means A Happy Home
One place your house guests will inevitably visit is the bathroom, so you want to make sure it's squeaky clean,  especially the toilet which is where Scrubbing Bubbles® Toilet Cleaning Gel comes in handy.  This gel is great, even when you don't have guests over, because it helps prevent the build-up of lime scale and toilet rings..  Besides, you just stamp the gel along the inside of the bowl, and you’re good to go. It  only takes a few seconds, so you have more time to focus on decorating and cooking.

|4| Think Before You Sink
Since every house guest is expected to wash their hands it's only logical to have a squeaky shiny sink for them to use.  Disinfectant Scrubbing Bubbles® Bathroom Cleaner is your go to product to get rid of soap scum build up in the sink, and to get in all the nooks and crannies around your faucet.   You know exactly what I'm talking about too, and you don't even have to worry about scrubbing it yourself!  The Disinfectant Scrubbing Bubbles® Bathroom Cleaner is fantastic because it expands into tight spots so you don't have to.  It kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria too.

 |5| The Man in The Mirror (And Windows)
One last thing guests always notice is your mirrors, especially in the bathroom.  In order to keep them clean, break out the  Windex® Original Glass Wipes, and enjoy the convenience of a streak-free shine from a wipe.  This is perfect in the middle of your gathering, because if you notice water droplets on the mirror you can just discreetly grab a wipe away.
While guests like to look out the window to notice the weather, you want to make sure they don't notice all the fingerprints and streaks so break out the Windex® Original Glass Cleaner and give all your windows a wipe down.  There's something about shiny windows when you are in someone else's home that makes it seem that much more clean.
