How did you feel when you woke up this morning? Excited about the day ahead or dreading what is to come? Steve Jobs once said that your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else's life. So with that in mind, do you feel like you are living your best life? If you have to think about it, or the answer is a no or a maybe, then the chances are that you aren’t living your best life when you definitely could be. If this sounds like you and you want to be doing more and living how you deserve, then here are some ideas and ways to help you to be more alive, more present, more conscious, and hopefully, living a happier life, regardless of what is going on around you.
If you treat each day as a fresh start, then it helps you to stop living with regrets or living in the past. Life is short so it is important to live in the present and not dwell on things in the past.

When you complain about things but never do anything about them, then it really doesn’t serve any purpose and can actually just make you angry and bitter. So instead, if there are things that are irritating you, then do something about them, rather than just talk about them.
Taking action on the things that you want to improve in your life is going to help you to live life to the fullest. Being proactive, such as educating yourself more to improve your career or checking yourself into a rehab clinic, should you need to, are just a couple of examples of how you could be more proactive in your life. Make changes rather than waiting for changes to happen.
Having some values to live by is really important so that you can live a life that you are happy with and that will allow you to feel fulfilled. Values and morals in your life are the things that are the essence of you, and if you haven’t decided what they are, then now is the time to do so.
It can be easy to only let ourselves do things if and when we feel that we can. For example, we might have a dream of booking a holiday to a far flung destination but only when we have lost enough weight to wear a bikini on the beach there. While makings plans is a good idea, putting your life on hold and ‘waiting’ to do things isn’t always going to be the best idea. Don’t put things off or deny yourself.
Along similar lines, having a bucket list of things that you want to do and things that you want to achieve is really important. Then you have a list of things that you can work through, and ticking things off a list can feel really good.
Learning to let things go and forgive people really is a skill that needs to be worked on. And if you are able to, then you will be well on your way to living your best life.
