3 Reasons Why You Should Invest in a Quality Grill

Thursday, April 11, 2019

It's finally here! The weather is warm, the sun is out, the grass is turning green, and everyone's getting together for food, drinks, and fun.  There's nothing I love more than grilling out on the patio with friends but there was a time when I couldn't do that because I had a terrible grill.

As someone who blogs about personal finance quite often, I notice many people always want to purchase whatever costs the least amount of money.  But I always remind those people that there are some things in life you need to make a smart investment on and a grill is one of those things.

Here are 3 big reasons you should invest in a quality grill

1. Your food will taste better.

One of the reasons people complain about burnt food is because they are using a low quality grill.  Even if you aren't a world class chef, you can still be a great griller as long as you have a decent grill. We Love Fire has a great selection of gas grills that can be used to cook with a direct OR indirect flame.   It all depends on the flavor you want with your food.

You can also use infrared cooking to heat your food just by increasing the air temperature.  This sears the juices into the meat and they get trapped inside and give you lots of juicy flavor.   There's also rotisseries in some gas grills so you can cook large pieces of meat and have the juices remain inside and roast on the outside.

2.  It's great for entertaining.
The absolute easiest way to throw a get together is to have a reliable grill that can handle preparing food for a bigger number of people.  This makes it so easy to invite neighbors over last minute and ensure everyone will have some food to enjoy.    All you need to do is get the food.

A reliable grill allows you to safely prepare food while enjoying yourself and your company.  It wouldn't really be fun to be running around trying to keep the food from being burnt to a crisp because you can't even turn your back for a second to laugh at your friend's joke.   Plus, no one wants to stand on a deck while there's stinky burnt food smell engulfing them.

3. You'll get your money's worth.
If you buy a cheap crappy grill and it only lasts 1-2 years, that means you have to buy a cheap crappy grill again, and then 2 years later, and 2 years after that.   If you add all that up you could end up paying thousands of dollars for NOTHING!

But if you're smart, and you choose a grill that works for your home and the type of food you like to prepare, you can invest that money by having a grill that lasts for many years to come.  It likely won't fall apart or have pieces snap and break off easily if it's a high quality reputable brand.

I completely understand that having to buy things for your home or apartment isn't always the most fun thing ever especially because of how much money you can spend, but it's always worth it to make wise investments.

Do you struggle with your current grill?
