Change the Way you Clean your Kitchen with These Top Tips

Thursday, April 30, 2020

If you want to make sure that your kitchen is clean and tidy then these tips will help you. After all, nobody has time to spend all day cleaning, but if you use the below hints then there’s no reason why you can’t get the job done in half the time.

DIY Orange Cleaner

If you want a DIY orange cleaner then there are a few ways that you can make one up yourself. This cleaner will work wonders on your greasy stove tops and sinks too. The only thing that you need to do is take the peel of a few oranges and add some plain white vinegar. Leave this for a number of weeks in a nice cool spot. When you do, you will then be able to transfer the solution to a spray bottle. At this point, you will need to add some water and then shake it up. Two parts water is usually enough here, and you can use it all around the home.
Baking Soda

Do you have some old baking soda lying around? If so, when you’ve finished with it, put it down your garbage disposal. You’ll want to do this with some running water if you can. The great thing about this is that it will keep your disposal fresh and it will also stop smells from lingering.

Oven Cleaning

Believe it or not, the secret to oven cleaning is for you to take care of any spills, right when they happen. If you have a really sticky mess at the bottom of your oven then don’t worry, this happens to a lot of people. To remove it, sprinkle some salt on top of it as soon as you can. After a while, turn on the oven. The spill will turn into ash and you will be able to wipe it up with a wet cloth whenever your oven cools.

Top of the Fridge

The top of your fridge will probably get pretty grimy, very quickly. The main reason for this is because the food particles will float into the air, and then end up there. If you want to stop this from becoming a problem, then simply add some plastic wrap onto the fridge. When you have done this, you can then leave it there for a month or two. After this time, remove it and replace it. The great thing about this is that you can barely see it and it will repel dirt with ease.

Stainless Steel

Appliance repair is very easy when you hire the right service. If you want to clean up your appliances at the same time, then stainless steel can be a pain to clean. One way for you to make it sparkle again would be for you to use some vodka. Simply put some on a paper towel or a little on a sponge and then wipe it down. Everything will sparkle at the end and it will also disinfect the area at the same time.
