Another month of nice weather and good reads! Check them out below!

The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay

This was a really interesting book where a young girl named Wed lives in a cabin with her two fathers.   When a group of random people comes to their house and demands to be let in, tensions run SUPER high.   They try to tell Wen and her family that civilization is at stake and in order to survive they have to sacrifice one of themselves.   This book actually did have me on edge throughout much of the plot.  It's a REALLY great read so check it out!

The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Yes, I know it's a teen read but it is so nostalgic.  Belly stays at a beach house every year with her mom and her childhood friends, two brothers Conrad and Jeremiah.  But she became a beautiful young teen this year and it's got the boys attention.   This was such a good book.

It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han
The second in this series by Jenny Han was amazing.   It follows her life and how it's drastically changed since last summer.  There's a death, a breakup, and lots of confusion.   As some truths start to unfold there is a mind blowing plot twist at the end!

We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han
The final book in the series, this shows who Belly finally ends up with.  I was shocked but happy at the end.  What a whirlwind of a love story though!

Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott
Umm, this book was AMAZING and about a girl that has Cystic Fibrosis who is in the hospital when she meets Will, someone with a bacterial infection in his lungs that makes it so he can never get closer than 5 feet towards someone with CF.  They still have a budding romance and they experience happiness and great loss together.

The Anti-Cookbook by Shelley Onderdonk and Rebecca Bloom
This book is awesome because it's a basic explanation of how to nourish your body and soul and how to make the basics for almost any type of meal you want. It explains what kitchen tools everyone should have and it does an amazing job explaining where many of our favorite meals come from.   A must have for anyone that loves food!
