Our Small + Simple Easter

Tuesday, April 3, 2018

I hope you all had a nice Easter.  This year Easter was very different because I had a TON going on the last two weeks.  So there will be no beautiful tablescapes and bright lighting in these photos but hey, I'm keepin' it real. It was just myself, my brother, and my parents.  Sometimes it's nice that way because it's just a simple meal and then it's easier to get back into my routine the next day.

Another thing that threw Easter off is the fact that March had soooo much snow.   There aren't as many Spring flowers and gardens being started now because the snow had made us all wait until it melted and we could prepare our yards.  What a pain!

Anyways here are a few scenes from Easter.

I made a ham with a cherry glaze as the main course.  Sides were my mom's deviled eggs (YUM!),  green bean casserole, corn casserole, rolls, and sweet potato casserole.

And of course dessert was pie!

How was your Easter?   Do you prefer big gatherings or smaller simple ones?

And surprise I have a really exciting giveaway for you guys to kick off this month!  You can win $350 cash!!
