Summer was crazy this year. It started out cooler then went right to rain rain rain. We had a few good weeks at the end of June and beginning of July before more rain rain rain. The rain was great for the garden but a pain in the butt for me when it came to tending to my garden.
Life got so crazy busy I barely even picked my lettuce and most of it went to seed right away.
Now I've got my peppers beginning to turn red and my butternut squash is getting flowers on the vines.
I left my Kale in the garden but all of the Romaine lettuce is gone.
My Zucchini are obviously done for the season and I am pretty happy with how many I got. I feel like next year I need to find a better container for them to grow in.
I can't wait to show you how my butternut squash do! I'm also going to plant some radishes and beets next month!
How did your garden do this Summer? Any tips for me with the zucchini?
