How I Enjoy Nature in the Fall

Wednesday, September 30, 2020

I love spring and fall because they are the inbetween seasons that have good weather that isn't too hot or too cold.  Here's how I enjoy nature in the Fall.

I take lots of walks.

I love looking at the changing scenery with the colorful leaves and the smell of crisp cool air.  I especially like bodies of water because they are crystal clear in the Fall.

I plant fall flowers.
Mums are my absolute favorite fall blooms. I love the different colors and I love how they look in a vase.

I visit orchards.
I love getting fall foods and pumpkins to decorate my home.  I love seeing the farm animals as well and corn mazes are a blast at any age.

I make nature mandalas.
I collect twigs, leaves, and acorns to make little nature mandalas that I leave around my yard.  Sometimes I put a pile of walnuts and acorns in the middle for the critters that are stocking up before winter comes.

Fishing
You can still fish on warmer days in the fall and you don't have to worry about as many bugs bothering you.

Meditation
I love sitting in secluded spots I find on my nature walks where I just zone out and enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of the Earth.

How do you enjoy nature in the Fall?
