So I’ve been on my new lifestyle challenge for a month now. I talked about my initial goals, my progress, and today I’m giving you my final thoughts. It’s all based on the book Always Eat After 7PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks – While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion. While I wouldn’t say this was easy, the amount of effort I put into it was worth the reward of results and feeling much better inside and out. I can’t believe I almost gave up on improving my energy levels and losing weight before I found this book.

Everything was broken down so well. Remember, the Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of The 14-day Acceleration Phase to start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you learn which foods to eat to achieve your weight-loss goals, and The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good. I am fully committed to carrying this knowledge and practice forward with me because I know that it will keep working for me as long as I stick with it. I have never been so amazed by a book. I learned so much and the popular diet myths that were debunked were very insightful. This was truly an easy to follow diet that allowed me to indulge my most intense food cravings and eat the majority of my calories at night.

The author says “People everywhere subject themselves to lives of starvation dieting and exercising hell, and none of it is working. They crave food, walk around hungry all day, and miss out on one of life’s great pleasures – eating good food.” How true that statement is. That was my life before this book came along. I would try so hard only to feel miserable and I always said, I enjoy food and I don’t want to deprive myself of things that I enjoy for the rest of my life because really, what kind of life is that?

I will certainly keep this lifestyle up moving forward. I feel like I finally have the knowledge and tools to make better choices and stick with this lifestyle. When I go out to eat, I know what to look for on the menu, I can easily plan out smart meals and snacks on a regular basis, and I understand why my body is hungry and why I should listen to that hunger.
