Chewy.com is one of my favorite companies that I've ever worked with on this blog.  So when I got the opportunity to do a 30-Day Challenge with them for a brand of dog food known as I and Love and You, of course I said yes.   So for 30 days (at least) I'll be feeding my 4 chihuahuas I and Love and You Naked Essentials Dry Dog Food in the Chicken and Duck flavor.

Right off the bat I like the way the food looks and smells.  The smell didn't punch me in the face, meaning it's not full of weird icky ingredients.  There is no corn, wheat, soy, or rice and it's also a grain free food which is great for any dog with a lot of allergies and sensitivities.  There's no fillers or by-product meals in the list of ingredients and it's a dog food that is balanced for everyday nutrition.   I also was really happy to see that there are HAPPY TUMEEZ prebiotics and probiotics because I like to keep my dogs regular and healthy both inside and out.

The size of the kibble is great and I didn't have any fears of choking or even the pieces being too small, which makes my dogs eat WAY TOO FAST!  I also liked the color.  No strange dyes or colors added. Just natural brown like a dog food should be!   And speaking of colors - I love the bag and the colors and design.  The bag has a nice feel to it that allows me to hold onto it when I pour food out.  It's kind of "rubbery" and grippy if you know what I mean.

Dogs eating

The dogs seem to really love it and eat it up right away.  It's quite obvious that chicken and duck is a favorite flavor of theirs so I can't wait to see how they do on it.

Stay tuned because I'll be back in a couple weeks to let you know how it's going and any changes I see in them thanks to I and Love and You. Also, I am loving that I and Love and You products are made in the USA and the formulas and recipes are approved by a holistic veterinary partner.

Stay tuned for Part 2!
