Providing Your Dog With The Perfect Diet

Thursday, March 12, 2020

A great dog food will provide your pooch with all the nutrients it needs to stay strong and healthy. It’s also a good idea to add a few fresh vegetables to your dog's diet now and then. For a range of health benefits, try spicing up your dog’s bowl with these tasty veggies.

1 . Kale

When you’re chomping down on this superfood, remember to save a little for your doggie. Eating kale can help to fight heart disease plus ease the symptoms of urinary tract issues or arthritis. Kale is also high in fiber, plus it’s an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, and vitamin A.

2. Carrots

Carrots are great to boost the immune system and provide antioxidants. They are also a great source of biotin, potassium, and vitamin A. When you are giving your dog raw carrots, remember to chop them into tiny pieces.

3.Broccoli

Broccoli is excellent to reduce inflammation, increase immunity, and decrease a risk of cancer. What’s more, when your dog chews on broccoli stalks, this can help to eliminate plaque on the teeth. Broccoli is also a great source of fiber and protein as well as vitamins A, E, and K.

4. Pumpkin

Pumpkin is great for dogs who struggle with bowel problems. It’s packed with minerals like calcium, which helps keep bones and teeth healthy. Pumpkin also contains magnesium which can ease muscle pain and aid sleep.

When choosing a dog food, look out for one that’s full of grains such as
