Aquasana offers a line of water filters for your household that offer many health and cosmetic benefits to you and your family.   Specifically, I am going to talk about their shower filters.  You may not know it but more than double the levels of chlorine and other synthetic chemicals enter your body through skin absorption while showering than they do from drinking water.  Shower filtration is one of the best and easiest ways to now reduce our harmful exposure to chlorine and other tap water contaminants. The US EPA recently noted that because of chlorine and showering, pretty much every home in America has a detectable level of chloroform gas in the air.  When chlorine vaporizes in steam it converts to chloroform after combining with organic compounds in the air.  By filtering your shower water you can save your skin and hair from being dried out.  It's like swimming in a chlorine pool and getting skin and hair damage versus swimming in a pool with no chlorine!  Basically your hair will retain moisture more and your skin will look younger and healthier for longer.  Besides, you won't be stripping away your new hair dye color either!

I received a premium shower head and shower filter from Aquasana.  It has a massaging shower head and it removes over 90% of chlorine.  The dual stage filtration system filters chlorine, enhances pH, and then filters synthetic chemicals as well! It has a 10,000 gallon capacity and was super easy to install.  When it's time to replace the filter, it's easy to do that and I can order the refills right from the website!  This is such a convenience especially because you get a massaging shower head along with your filtration system!

I love the look of it and I love that it didn't affect my water pressure.   I definitely noticed a difference in my hair and skin after a few weeks.  My hair wasn't so strawlike and my skin was red, blotchy, and itchy as often!

One winner will receive a shower filter of their own!

I like that the filtration system prevents harmful chemicals and chlorine from absorbing through our skin in the shower and through steam.
